IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, in this we find there are two specific
conditions in the cerebrospinal centers where impingements
give the deflection to the circulation, that in the 5th and
6th dorsal vertebra, and that in the 2nd lumbar vertebra, one
deflecting the circulation in the pulmonaries, or that in the
return of blood forces in the lung, the heart or through the
carotid artery. This gives the depression that occurs in the
lung forces at times and the depression as is caused, though
the seat of this is in the nerve system and in the centers
as govern these. The condition should be corrected, for the
results will be organic conditions, though they do not exist
at the present time. In the 2nd lumbar we have the
deflection that produces the condition in the lower
intestinal tract, also that as affects the kidneys in their
excretory functioning. This being a specific condition
produces or brings about the distresses that the body has at
times through all of the trunk portion of the body. These
have not as yet become organic conditions, though they may
bring about that condition in the perineurium of the 2nd
lumbar plexus that would be reflexed in all of the
circulation in the right side of body. In the sympathetic
nerve system this is very good, and the body gains much of
its renewed energy in the body at present from the
sympathetic forces, and this gives the greater nerve energy
in the body at present. Do not overtax this, for there would
be the collapse with these conditions as exist.
IN THE ORGANS OF THE BODY, in brain forces very good. The
body well balanced in mental abilities, and capable of
developing far in the material world.
Sensory organism, and the organs in same, very good. The
lungs proper under that condition, as given, as is shown
also in the thyroid region. Digestive tract shows the strain
of the condition in the lower portions of body and that
reflex condition from the lumbar region.
Liver torpid in its action. The exercise and the sympathetic
nerve system keeps the functioning as it does. The lower
portion of the hepatic circulation and that condition in the
colon itself, shows the reflex from the lower dorsal segments
being and giving out that reflex force from an impinged nerve
action. No organic conditions at present in the body. The
strains come to the body in the blood supply from the
condition existing in the kidneys and the bladder, and in the
organs of gentation, this being produced by the system
retaining in same those poisons as left by the segment or
sediment from improper eliminations through these channels.
Then to bring the body to the normal forces would be to take
into the system those properties that will give the correct
incentives in the system through the circulation, through
the stomach and intestinal tract, and correct by deep
osteopathic manipulation those conditions in the lumbar
region, and in the upper dorsal region, taking in the system
these properties:
To 16 ounces of rain water add 6 ounces of ragweed, or
Ambrosia Weed. Reduce by simmering (not boiling) to 8
ounces. Strain and add:
Grain Alcohol...............4 ounces,
Balsam of Tolu..............1 dram,
Oil of Peppermint...........3 minims,
Tincture of Capsici.........1 minim.
The dose would be teaspoonful twice each day, morning on
arising and in evening before retiring.
With these corrections, and with the body keeping the
adjustments, we will find the development of this body,
[
3949] will be to the normal and give the best development
in self here.
Do that.
