TEXT

GC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [4047].
In giving the interpretation of the records, and interpreting them in such a manner that the entity may apply the suggestions in the experience of the present life, this we would do with the desire that there be pointed out to the entity both virtues and vices in the entity; that there may be the recognition that there is daily set before thee good and evil, life and death, and that the entity, as an entity, must choose.
It is evident that there is the inclination, from the manner of reasoning of the entity, to judge by material accomplishments. This should not be so. For it is in Him that ye are given life, that ye live and move and have thy being. Thus, is the purpose in an experience in the earth only to be born, to live three score and ten years and pass out? or is it as a day, as a moment in eternity?
Life then is purposeful. What is life? It is a manifestation of a soul. Remember that self is body, mind and soul. As the soul would know, does know, it is the gift of the Creator, the Maker. The purpose in life, then, is not the gratifying of appetites nor of any selfish desires, but it is that the entity, the soul, may make the earth, where the entity finds its consciousness, a better place in which to live.
That phase of the entity's experience in the present as a chemical engineer, as an instructor, as a director, as an aid to many groups, many individuals furnishes the entity an opportunity, if there is not lost sight of the fact that what ye do shall be to the glory of thy Maker and not of self or of any particular group. The benefits that may be derived should be for the common good of all and not for the gratifying of any emotion of the body, or even of the mind - unless mind is in accord with the divine.
Analyze these. These are truths, and truth is truth wherever ye find it. To be sure it must find a response within self, else to the individual it is a theory or an idea. Yet that just given the entity will find, if it searches itself and analyzes its purposes, its ideals, its hopes, it doubts, its fears. And ye can do something about it! For know that ye are in the present experience, in the present environ, in the present years of thy activity more productive, more far-reaching in the influence ye have, in the opportunity that ye will have for making the earth a better place to live in for those to come. And remember you'll be back again! What do you want it to look like? You have a greater opportunity at the present time than you will have at any other period of this particular sojourn. So you'd better be up and doing, keeping self in accord with God's laws. For remember, God is not mocked and whatsoever a man soweth that must he also reap, spiritually, mentally and materially. For the law of the Lord is perfect. It will convert the soul if ye seek to know that law in thy experience.
From the astrological aspects, we find Mercury, Venus, Saturn and Jupiter in affliction with Neptune.
Then stay away from water, large bodies of water. Be very careful when in swimming, even when you take a bath - that you don't slip and break a bone! For these are afflictions - water; yet water is the mother of materiality. From spirit the activity of mind upon matter brings into being elements, as in evolution, that become manifested in materiality - as ye experience in thy chemical studies.
In Mercury there is wisdom, but wisdom not applied will become sin.
There are gratifyings in Venus as to appetites of body, of mind, of purposes. For those pertaining to the mind (which is the builder in spirit as well as in flesh, or the earth) must be applied in correlation one with another. Don't let thy knowledge be thy undoing, but do the first things first. Know in Whom ye believe and in what ye believe, spiritually. Know from whence ye came and whither ye go. For if ye become as anxious about using thyself for the purpose for which ye entered, ye will not be so anxious about where you are going. For remember, it is only self ye are meeting that causes anxieties or any character of trouble. For thou hast been from the beginning. It is up to thee as to whether ye continue. The soul that sins shall be cut off - the soul that sins purposefully, that doesn't use the opportunities given by manifestations in life. And what is the law of the Lord? "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy mind, thy body, thy soul, and thy neighbor - thy brother, thy friend, thy foe - as thyself." The whole law is in this. Ye can apply it to this or that extent, but do apply it in the whole law if ye would be at peace with self and know the peace which passeth understanding to a materially-minded individual or world.
As to the appearances in the earth, all will not be indicated but these that ye may know from whence ye came and whither ye go. For thy pattern is set and ye are a free-willed soul. Ye may either use or abuse the privileges given to thee. From whence? The source of all life, and life in every form - whether it be in the vapor, the chemical motivative force as accredited to the vegetable, mineral or even the animal kingdom - is of one source, God. Make thyself, then, put thyself, be thyself, in companionship with Creative Forces. For the purpose is that each soul should be a co-creator with God.
Before this the entity was in the land of the present nativity during the early settlings, in the activities with many of those who had to do with the bringing of peace and harmony out of chaos during those days when the state was a nation in itself, when it, as a state of the union, went through those periods of birth.
Thus to the entity innately (and rightly) Texas is a union in itself.
Then in the name Ben Goodall the entity gained, if there is not the attempt to placate those blessings, those mercies, those opportunities with dogmatic law or judgement. Judge not that ye be not judged, and remember the law that is so similar, "As ye sow ye reap" - not only materially but mentally and spiritually.
Before that the entity was in the early settlings of what is now Rhode Island and Connecticut. The entity was among those associated and active with those who laid out the plans and policies of the associations and connections of that land, not only as to the material laws but the penal laws in relationships to others; being associated with Roger Williams.
Then in the name Henry Hunt the activities of the entity were in making for betterments of relationships by the tenets or the fruits of the spirit - kindness, gentleness, patience, long-suffering, brotherly love, practically applied in the material and in the mental life.
These are well. Against these there are no laws. They ARE the law of the mental being of an entity, and may grow, may add to all that is worthwhile.
Before that the entity was in the Holy Land during those periods when there were the greater questions as to the activities of men when the Master walked in the earth.
The entity was among those of the soldiery under Cornelius, being of that company who heard, who saw Peter speak, who heard of that which prompted Peter's activities in the earth.
The entity was the gainer through those experiences, for these have been and are shadows, as it were, in the consciousness of the entity ever. Cultivate them, bring them out of the darkness of the mind. Use them in the daily relationships with others, and thy life experience here will grow to be more worthwhile. Greater and easier will be thy choices in the activities.
The name then was Ederle.
Before that the entity was in the Atlantean land, being among the sons of the children of the Law of One. The entity held to those principles that the Lord IS one, and thus that the care of each soul, each individual, is just as necessary - because each is just as precious as the other in the sight of the Creative Force or God.
These are parts of the entity, yet far afield would the application come at times.
Study then to show thyself approved unto God, a workman not ashamed, rightly dividing the words of truth, keeping self unspotted from the world.
As the pattern indicates, the entity has contributed and may continue to contribute much to the betterment of the general welfare of others. The sources of help and power are of the divine that is within. For thy body is indeed the temple of the living God. Use it, consider it, apply it as such.
Do the first things first. FIND self and thy relationship to thy Maker.

(A) As just indicated the pattern is drawn. Any field of activity wherein the entity may contribute to the greater welfare of its fellow man - thy neighbor as thyself.
(Q) How can I develop a photographic memory?
(A) Is that the best memory for the entity? Enter rather into the study of self and its relationship to the Creative Forces, call it by whatever name ye wish to call it - it is the study of self and thy relationship to Creative Forces.
From thy analysis of the man, why was Moses set apart from others to give laws? Apply this as to self. Why may ye not be? For the promise is ever "whosoever will." Apply to self the answer as to how and why Joshua, of all the children of Israel, was chosen as the successor to Moses. Study as to why Gideon chose God. Analyze as to what temporal things brought into his experience. Study as to why David is called "a man - man - after God's own heart." Not that he was free from fault, but that his purposes, his hopes, his fears were continually submitted to God. And remember, as he gave, "That which I feared has come upon me."
Then fear the Lord, that he may be close to thee and that thy will be close to Him. Then apply this in thy daily life.

Dear Mr. [4047]:
Thanks for yours of the 22nd.
I am happy indeed to note that you feel there is the possibility of some help from the physical reading that was given the first of April. We thank you too for the name of the osteopath who is taking care of your treatments.
The Life Reading was mailed to you some days ago, and doubtless you have it by now. I trust you will find a great deal of interest, and that the application and use of things suggested, will bring a great deal of help to you. As a usual thing Mr. [4047] the Life Readings are things that have to be studied, unless one has been a student of work of this nature for sometime. The wording is rather hard to understand, but reading it over several times, you will doubtless find a great deal that will help. You know if we can possibly be the means of help in any way in explaining it, do not hesitate to write and ask us.
