My Dear Mrs. [
4055]:
I suppose by now you have got a job nursing. For I see by
your last letter that you are at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
Of course you know Mr. Cayce has been and still is sick.
Last summer you spoke to me of the possibilities of having
the job of cooking for Mr. Cayce the things he needs. I was
wondering if you would still like to take over that job. As
his Readings say that one of the main factors is his diet.
He also is in need of some one to nurse him too.
And as you were so lovely as to let me read your Reading it
also stated your ability to do that.
If you would be interested in this job I wonder if you would
immediately write and let us know. We would like to know
also what you would ask to compensate you for your work.
Of course if this is not possible be sure to let us know,
as I may have misunderstood your statement of last summer.
If it is at all possible it would fill a very great need
here. Of course you know we would try to make it as easy
for you as possible. But I think we surely need someone
who has your abilities and your kindness of heart.
Hoping that you will be able to help us in this need.
I remain, Kathryn Patterson
