Mr. Edgar Cayce:-
Kind Sir;
I am writing you in regard of the last prescription you sent
me. I had to send it to Birmingham to get it filled. I
can't tell that I have derived as much benefit from the last
prescription as I did from the first. Here of late I cannot
take more than half the dose you prescribed as the
perspiration flows freely and I become very nervous after
taking each dose. I suffer a great deal from what I call
piles. My lower bowels as high up as four inches takes
spells of itching and breaks and bleeds which causes me to
suffer much with my lower limbs. As you know I have had some
cancers taken out of my nose and face: do you think that the
cancer poison can be eradicated from my system?
Respectfully, Mrs. [
