4/25/27 EC's letter to [
4162]:
Dear [
4162]:-
Well, it looked like everything was against us trying to get
your reading, but I felt like I was justified in breaking a
rule and taking this on Sunday - though I assure you I am
pretty well worked down.
Now [
4162], regarding the reading, I am in hopes you will see
I have done the right thing; not taking the reading just as
you outlined from your questions, but rather beginning at the
BEGINNING and have a basis to work upon. Now, if you so
desire, after you have read and studied this very carefully
and thoroughly, make up your list of questions, even as you
already had if you wish, or substitute others that may have
been suggested to you by the information given here - and I
believe, from this way of working it, you will be better able
to understand and apply all other information that may be
gotten regarding the questions you may desire answered; for
you will find, I am sure, that is, if you are able to apply
this to yourself, that you will of necessity have to refer to
this reading to understand the other information. That's why
I took this one first, and we will arrange to get the other
one just as soon as possible.
[
257] said he was coming by here, but I suppose from the
announcement we received that he is already back in New York.
He suggested possibly that he would be present when we took
one or the other of your readings, and then would possibly be
able to suggest some questions that would enable you to get
just the information you desire. I certainly am in hopes
that you are going to find this worth while, and that you
will APPLY what is given.
Hoping you will let me hear from you, and with kindest
personal regards to yourself and the rest of the family, I am
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce EC:GD

4162]'s letter to EC:
Dear Judge:
The first time I could get to answer on your reading. I have
been busy as I started construction on a house and luckily
have gotten a partner to put up money and take the work from
me so I am free. We expect a nice profit and if successful
will extend operation to your town out of first profit.
Your reading was excellent, of fine grammar and much truth.
Soon I shall get you to follow up this reading with more of
its kind and see it thru.
[
257] is here now and I will be able to breathe easier as he
is a help in the things at the top.
Your reading would make a fine scenario.
Much luck and many regards to you and the folks.
I expect to gain much by your reading and will abide by it
strictly.
Your friend, [
