(Physical Suggestion)

EC: Yes, we have the body here, Mrs. [4164] - this we have had before.
Now, as we find, while there are at times some apparent irritations that come from the applications, these are proving satisfactory, and while these have not acted - or reacted - as swiftly as might have been expected, these ARE bringing about bettered conditions for the body.
We would keep for the present much of that which has been outlined for the body.
In the application of the ultra-violet, or Infra Red, we would not apply directly to those places that indicate the weakness in the gland, or in the portions in neck, but RATHER to those centers in the cerebro-spinal system from which these receive their impulse for nerve reaction, see? or in the lower cervical and upper dorsal area.
The rest we would keep, in the present.
We would be mindful that there are not too much activities of the body as related to strains, but sufficient that the whole coordinating system is kept in order.

(Q) Shall I still take the Cod Liver Oil tablets, even though the weather is very warm now?
(A) If there is sufficient of the sun's rays taken, these will not be so necessary; yet these are WELL to be taken occasionally for the effect same has upon the blood supply of the body.
(Q) How long should any sun-light treatment be given?
(A) From twenty to thirty minutes, at least.
(Q) Should massage at back of neck continue the same or should it be increased?
(A) Be continued the same, and this would be well to be given rather heavy just following the application of the Infra Red. A little bit before that there may be the loosening up of the muscular and the ganglia areas, then the application, and then a thorough massage following same.
(Q) Would a whole body massage, as well as what I have been receiving, help my circulation or condition?
(A) This would help the circulation, to be sure; but the exercise that should come would be that which uses most of the muscular forces of the body. This is more easily applied than taken by self, but is as effective if taken by self.
(Q) Is it too soon for my neck to show any improvement? How soon will the growth, or whatever it is, get smaller and disappear?
(A) We should see a reduction of same within the next three to five weeks. Not entirely disappear in that time, but EASIER - and gradually disappearing.
(Q) Which would be more beneficial, the seashore or the mountains?
(A) Seashore.
(Q) Just what does the ash do for me?
(A) Loosens oxygen in the system that allows the blood supply to be clarified the better.

Dear Mr. Cayce -
You asked me to write and let you know how I was getting along, but I hesitated, as my neck is no better at all. In fact - my neck seems larger - the growth does. It seems to protrude more than ever - and is very noticeable now - whereas before - one could hardly notice it - unless ones attention was drawn to it. I am very worried about it - and am writing to you for advice. I haven't gained any weight either - and I've tried very hard to. In fact I've lost a little. My condition in itself - I think is a little better - but my neck is worse, and seems to be growing very fast now.
I can't help worrying about it - and I'm sure hearing from you will help some!

My dear Mrs. [4164]
I was indeed sorry to know that your condition apparently is more aggravating. If I remember correctly, there was the suggestion that you might expect an accentuation during the first portion of the treatment, until the system could adjust itself to turn to an absorption rather than an accentuation. What does the Doctor say about this? I believe that in a very short while you are going to find the condition will turn for the better. As you recognize from the information (and I am sure the Doctor would verify this), such growths are produced by the thinning of the walls of the glands themselves, and eliminations that should be carried out of the system from there. This, if properly adjusted in the system, would eliminate properly, with the system strengthened to the point where the general health is being built up. I don't understand your continually losing weight, with the diet and exercise followed closely. Check yourself rather closely with the suggestions, and let me hear from you again. If you don't find a great difference in the next ten days, let's check this over again and see what is the trouble.
