This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce in Meridian, Texas, this 5th day of August, 1923.

TEXT

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. We have had this before, you see. Now we find the conditions with this body, there are some that are better than when we had it before. There are others that are not as good in some respects. The conditions as we find at present still produce the effect over the system where the incoordination of the nerve and muscular forces shows how that the body, in the assimilation of unit forces to rebuild the body throughout, [these] are not distributed through their proper channels.
2. We would, though, for the condition at the present time, as has been given, now make some change in the treatment to assist the body to gain its strength and some of the equilibrium throughout the forces that govern the system proper:
3. To reduce the temperature produced in the body by stimulation in circulation, as was given before, we would bathe or massage the body, especially in the thyroid region, the solar plexus region and the sacral region, with pure grain alcohol, 20%, every three to five hours.
4. We would massage into the tissue, where the lymphatics and emunctories take up the circulation, those properties as found in Golden Seal. That will assist the body in the assimilation and elimination.
5. Take internally into the body, every third day, only the one dose of the Radium water. That would give the reaction to the system, with the massaging, to assist in gaining the equilibrium. In this there would be at least twelve doses taken before we would change from this, then it will be necessary to change the portions as taken internally, for this must have the reaction on the tissue that gives radiation throughout the system.
6. Keep the massage gently in the body as given. Do that.
7. (Q) Is there any other information that you would like to give on the treatment of this body?
   (A) Do this as we have given at the present. There will be others with the reaction when these have been carried out in the system. We would then change to vibration. The vibration as set up will be different and the reaction must be set before those vibrations are given. Do this at present.
8. (Q) What part of the body, of the condition of the body, is better?
   (A) Capillary circulation, and the ability of the body to throw off or radiate the heat. The condition that is reached that is not as good, that the radiation is not governed by the massage of the properties to retard and keep the vibration in the body, you see, in the correct vibration.
   Do as we have given here for the next thirty-six days. Radium water, one dose as it comes in one bottle and that given every third day, that only taken internally; then massage to keep food to the system and to reduce the condition as produced by taxation at present.
9. (Q) Mr. Cayce, will it be necessary to have another diagnosis within thirty-six days?
   (A) At the end of the thirty-sixth treatment.
