This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office in Pinewood on Lakewood Drive, Virginia Beach, Va., this 12th day of March, 1932.

1. GC: You will have before you the bodies and enquiring minds of Major Lamphier, David E. Kahn and Grove Seely, who are in Room 903 of the Hotel Taft, in New Haven, Conn., who have visited all sections of the city, especially the north and east, and cannot find Cardova section or Scharter Street. They find the red clay, but no other leads. Please direct them, in detail, how to get there, and answer the questions which they have submitted, as I ask them.
2. EC: Yes, we have the bodies, the enquiring minds, Major Lamphier, David E. Kahn, Grove Seely. Now, as we find, in locating this section, that as would indicate the various industrious sections of the town or city would indicate this portion as has been given - see? Then, in seeking same, there are those that show how this portion is laid out - and these would be found in the manner as indicated. Ready for questions.
3. (Q) Who are those that could show them?
   (A) Manufacturers, or anyone that knows anything about the town!
4. (Q) Is the section in the city limits of New Haven, or nearer Hartford, or nearer Bridgeport?
   (A) As has been indicated, it is the outlying section - see? not wholly in the city limits of EITHER, but about the MANUFACTURING center, and that makes Cardova goods - see?
5. (Q) Is this a leather goods? If not, what?
   (A) It's rather what! INCLUDES leather goods. There are manufactured there, shoes, boots, saddles, and the like, as well as some stuffings and various and sundry things, as of bookmarks, as of purses, as of coverings for whips, and the like. In seeking this portion, as has been indicated, there are in this section - Now, from the hotel here, this lies then to the west and north of that being sought, see? or west of north; not west AND north, but west OF north of the section. In this place we find some fourteen houses - this is from the location of the child as indicated, see? which still, as we find, remains there, and not so well today - fourteen houses from same is a grounds - open - and the entrance to these MILLS, or manufacturers here - leather goods, see? Now, the mills are one street over, and fourteen houses out - see? toward the north and east, or east of north FROM the building. There has been the traversing of a portion of these same surroundings. The name Scharter is on the paving that runs along the street, to which this turns out - see? These have been changed in names. Scharter is as we see here. We don't see any maps or anything of them laid out, but these should be located from these mills. Cardova is the name of the products of the company - the Cardova section, see?
6. (Q) What is the name of the mills of this section?
   (A) Go, look and see! Do something themselves!
7. (Q) Using Taft Hotel as starting point -
   (A) This we have been outlining! We have given the direction from same!
8. (Q) Is the red clay still across the sidewalk?
   (A) Across the sidewalk, where it turns - with the name Scharter partially covered by same.
9. (Q) Are the goats still around the house?
   (A) The goats are at the north and east end of the house - brown one and a white one, or white and spotted one.
10. (Q) Through what branch Post Office would letter to Madge Beliance be delivered?
    (A) To New Haven, Cardova Section, General Delivery.
11. (Q) Have we been near the house today?
    (A) One street over.
12. (Q) Who is the man who telephoned or communicated with Col. Breckenridge daily with reference to the ransom?
    (A) This, as we find, is one who has been in touch with Megleo, and may be located at the present - but he isn't going to stay there very long - in the grill room of the Taft Hotel in New Haven!
13. (Q) Would the telephone company be able to assist us in locating the section?
    (A) Rather locate from those of the MANUFACTURERS!
14. (Q) Does this man go by the name of Megleo, or is he known by some other?
    (A) The leader - that is, of the group - is called Meg, as we have given. This man in grill room - dark, short - takes coke - and NAME is Serceio.
15. (Q) Is the number on the house visible from an automobile?
    (A) May be visible from an automobile. It is glass, with part of it broken, and part of the BACKING is off.
16. (Q) What streets adjoin Scharter Street? or Cardova Section?
    (A) These apparently are NUMBERED streets. They have been changed to numbered streets. These are one thirty-eight, and is crossed by one of a PRESIDENT name - Adams - That's two streets up.
17. (Q) Two streets up from Scharter?
    (A) From the house you are looking for with the baby in it!
18. (Q) Will this group be able to locate the house, or should they call in assistance of others?
    (A) If they follow these directions, and following this from the product manufactured in this section, they should be able to locate it themselves.
19. (Q) Will Edgar Cayce be able to join us on Sunday or Monday to direct further operations?
    (A) We find not.
20. (Q) Is anyone in New Haven recommended to assist us to communicate with these?
    (A) Not as we find in the present. Best go through that channel as has been indicated - those already employed - and not cross these! To indicate to work independent of any other influences, with as much as has been set in motion, would be to bring condemnation and a REJECTION on the part of those who have been attempting to make communications showing where or how these are to be delivered! Best to follow in the line as has been given, as we find. We are through for the present.
