This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the Phillips Hotel, Room 115, Dayton, Ohio, this 10th day of October, 1923, in accordance with request made by her uncle, Mr. [5717].

TEXT

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now we find there are some abnormal conditions in this body. They have to do with the elements and forces supplying in the structural forces or frame in the body, and the effect that this has produced on the system, and the direct and indirect strain as is produced on some of the organs, and the effect on the nerve system, especially that of the cerebral spinal nerve system, for the effect to the structural is to the portions of the spine force in the body.
2. Now these are the conditions as we find in this body of [4226] we are speaking of.
3. First, in the blood supply of the system, we find the blood forces, and those in the elemental forces between the white and red blood supply, gives the over-abundance of elements that supply especially through the white blood forces, in the creation of structural force or bone in the body. Hence we find that in the portions where this is needed, this is produced both by the treatment as accorded the system in times back, and some at present that supply the abundance of this element within the system itself.
4. In the red blood force, we find the body better balanced than that through the leukocyte force. We find in the circulation itself, no hindrances, though at times the effect to the organs of heart and liver show strain produced by the abundance of forces within this element in the body.
5. In the nerve forces we find as these: In the cerebral spinal, we find along the spine these conditions that have produced in this portion of the body, that which has been the hindrance in the perfect developing, not so much of the nerve in the first place, yet the nerve has become involved by the condition as exists and has existed in the system. Through the effect of centers being attacked; and nature, in attempting to ward off, or throw out that element encased, or to prevent the destruction of forces, brings barriers to bear on centers, and we find the effect in the body, through the body is active in these forces, the effect comes to these portions of the body, and to the centers of the cerebral spinal nerve system, so that along in the cervical, dorsal and lumbar regions, we find the effect of these conditions.
6. That which was produced first, was from the lack of the elements necessary to create the correct forces within the body to meet the needs as used. Then from strain on the system, when the body was 180 moons younger than it is at present. This was to the smaller portion of the back, or in the fourth lumbar region that gives here, and then as the condition developed with this lack of forces, then we bring about this condition as exists in the system.
7. In the sympathetic, the body is very good. Through the sensory organism, the organs themselves function better than the governing forces of these. Hence the uneasiness, not of pain altogether, but that comes to the organs of the sensory system at times. Superabundance of forces as created in the supplying to these organs, over-sensitive in many respects, through the organs of the sensory system. The body is still developing as you see.
8. In the organs themselves we find these: The brain forces very good. The organs of the sensory system as given. Throat, larynx, thyroids, bronchials, sympathetical effect from condition in the cervical region, at times supersensitive through congestion through these portions. Lung forces superabundance of white blood force going through the system. Red blood better.
9. The digestive organs in the cardiac end of the stomach, we find with the effect as produced through the cerebrospinal center about the seventh dorsal. The body at times suffers from cardiac pains at the cardiac end of the stomach. In the pneumogastric end, and the pyloric end of the stomach, the body has distrust in its action [destructive action?] through the spleen forces in destroying the red blood cells and this organ, itself engorged same, the spleen, you see. The pancreas and liver, show the condition produced in the system, through circulation to meet the needs of the body in the structural development. The intestinal tract, or the upper portion of same, where intestinal digestion takes place, gives off the effect of the high hepatic circulation. Hence the condition of at times the body over-active apparently, and then again of submerged condition of activity throughout. Though not given much to complaining. The hepatic circulation in its lower end, active with the condition as produced by high hepatic circulation. Pelvic organs involved sympathetically through the condition as exists in the lumbar region, and gives off sympathetically to the organs of the false pelvis.
10. To give the relief to this body, and give the proper forces the incentive for correct balance throughout the system, we would keep much of the properties accorded the system, not over-taxing the body with medicinal properties, but add rather those of the vibration as would be found in this:
11. To one gallon and a half of rain water, add:

    Willow Charcoal..............1/2 pound,
Heavy Sea Salt...............1/2 pound,
Copper Sulfate.................1 pound,
Sulfuric Acid, C.P.............1 ounce,
Common Zinc....................6 drams.

    This would be placed in glass container. This solution would charge itself, but rather be charged with low voltage, or that of the charging battery solution. While being charged, and while being used there should be within the solution one pound glass container of iodine, charged with the battery until it registers at least five and one-half ohms. Use heavy copper plates for electrodes. To these electrodes small wires would be attached. A large plate to the positive pole, a small plate to the negative pole.
12. Each evening for thirty minutes, attach these plates to this body of [4226] we are speaking of. The larger plate just above, and to the right of the umbilicus, the small plate one evening to the third cervical, the next evening at the seventh dorsal, the next evening at the third lumbar. Keep this up until three solutions have been used. These will last from three to five weeks each. With the other treatment we will find this will give the correct vibration to the body, both in the nerve centers and blood supply to retard and correct the condition within this body, and with the second cycle of body development, we will find the greater relief. That is when she is sixteen years old. Do that.
13. The nausea that is caused to the body at the third day's treatment is not to be considered serious. This may be expected. Keep up the treatments, it is only the reaction to the pneumogastric and the lacteal centers.
14. Correction for the spinal forces, must come through blood and nerve supplies. Keep this as we have given. Keep the mental forces of the body well balanced with its own physical and mental and spiritual self. Do that.
