EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now we find there are some abnormal conditions in this body. We find there are some conditions that to this body have become the normal effect and would or might remain so, yet may be corrected through physical forces and means to assist both in the development of physical conditions and the attributes to the mental and spiritual forces of the body.
Now these are conditions as we find them in this body: Now there are specific conditions that cause many of the abnormal effects that are produced. These have their effect on the whole system and in different respects, as they come to the cycle of the functioning and developing of the organ or organs so affected by this condition.
There is at the fifth cervical, a lesion that causes most of the pressure, that has been brought to bear on this body to prevent the normal development through many lines for the betterment of this body, and this pressure reflecting both nerve and muscular tissue, as the nerve forces course through the system, and are given the incentives for the development of the body. This has been the hindrance that has presented itself. Now, the effect as this has produced on this body we see manifested in these respects: The blood itself is very good yet its action being deflected, in many respects, to prevent the proper distribution to portions of the system, which we will see when we reach the functioning of the various organs. The nervous system, as we have given, shows the action of the deflection at the fifth cervical and nature (spirit and mental force) through the action of the sensory organism in attempting to create the perfect equilibrium has thrown these centers, those tissues that have made for the physical a very good development, yet with the disconnection of forces in the organs of the sensory system, this disconnection of forces is so carried to these organs themselves that used forces and matters that go to make up co-ordination in the organs remain rather then being absorbed through their regular channel, hence the gradual change that has been effected in themselves and by themselves according to the cycle of life for the individual organ, hence the condition of the hearing, of the eyes, the action of the speech, of feeling and sense of odors to this body. The development of the blood force to the brain centers themselves to give the proper growth and development to the cells of the brain, itself, are being deflected making a reaction rather to unusual strength to muscular forces, than strength to the mental and soul forces, as development is made on this earth plane. The organs, themselves, each as an individual organ, show or have shown at various stages of the development of the physical body, the action of these same conditions in this body through that of the heart action, only an effect of the condition of the blood, for we have one above the normal respiratory functioning producing more to the physical than to the development of the nervous forces to carry the perfect incentives to the action of the system in its development, for as we see as an explanation, as it were, of the condition that exists from forces in the system the action of all forces makes its impressions through the sensory system, and that of the white tissue of the nerve itself, the return impression as to the action of the force implied, does not on account of the used energy expressed give just the same action to the physical force of the body, in other words, the body understands, yet is not capable of giving the expressions - so that to the most part, others do not understand that this body understands.
The physical action of the digestive forces and those through trunk portions of the body, are very good.
To relieve or to bring perfect force in this body, we would have to give first, the proper connection between all of the forces of the Sympathetic and Cerebro Spinal nerve forces in their action and relieve the condition of congestion or lesion, which in this case are circular rather than lateral, and by the gradual expression to the sensory system develop the whole mental and nerve energy to its proper equilibrium in this body by heat through vapor locally applied to the upper dorsal and the whole length of the cervical region, and by the adjustments by manipulation, these segments and ends about this portion of the body and allow the natural forces to again make the connection necessary to produce the perfect co-ordinating forces within this body. These we see could be applied or found in such a place as that in Still-Hildreth Sanitarium, Macon, Missouri. Now these as we have given will give the proper condition to make a perfect development of the body, when they are properly given, and they would be properly given here. It should not take more than six months for the condition to be such as the normal development would begin its natural growth. There will be some sick nausea spells to this body from change of heart action and forces in the treatment, but these must come, if we would have the perfect development to come to the physical to give to the mental and spiritual forces, their development here, that is, on this plane, for they must build through proper channels, the flow of tissue that causes a perfect development to reach all through the sensory system. Do that as we have given.
(Q) Mr. Cayce, of how long standing is this condition and what caused it?
(A) It was caused in times back, you see, and was the effect of bacilli as carried in the system at times and settled about these segments producing the hardening condition until the extra growth began and prevented the proper development, hence that of the circular rather than the lateral lesion, hence the necessity of the vapor heat to give the proper adjustments to this body as we have given. Treat them at this place as this is only place for this treatment. We are through.
