This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 30th day of May, 1927, in accordance with request made by self - Mr. [4251], via his niece, Mrs. [4256].

Present: Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.

TEXT

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here.
3. Now, we find there are those conditions that need correction, that the body may function the more normal. These have to do with eliminations, and a hindered circulation, as is caused by specific conditions in the body.
4. These, then, are conditions as WE find them.
5. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find shows the character of hindrance in eliminations by the nature of that as is present in the blood, and by the conditions as are left in various portions of the joint and centers about the ligament ends.
6. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, in this we find the basis or seat of many conditions that are as hindrances in the body. These also are specific centers.
7. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF ORGANS the system shows the effect, but not organic conditions, from this body. The condition, then, being functional, and should be met in the way and manner as will reduce the poisons as are left by the poor elimination, which will clarify the blood stream, loosen, as it were, the segments where those subligations cause the tautness in nerve centers, overcoming through this those conditions as are produced in various portions of the system.
8. First: Have the teeth attended to! See? for this another seat or center from which the radiation of a hindered circulation and elimination brings poisons to the body.
9. Second: Correct those subluxations in the dorsal and lumbar regions, chiropractically or osteopathically. Chiropractically will release them, will the body but take the normal exercises that will KEEP the rest of the system in attunement; which would be - with twenty-six (26) chiropractic adjustments - take those circular movements for the lower portion of the body, much as the setting-up exercise for the upper portion of the body, morning and evening - keeping the circular motion for the lower portion of the body, from the waist down, see? in the evening, and in the morning take the setting-up exercise from the waist up, see?
10. And take in the system at least four (4) quantities, or four (4) packages, of that known as Toris Compound, prepared with the simple syrup - two (2) of these - one with the Spirits Frumenti, one with the mixture of both. The first two (2) with the simple syrup, the next with the combination of Spirits Frumenti and simple syrup, and the fourth (4th) with the Spirits Frumenti. This will eliminate the poisons from the system.
11. Beware of meats while these treatments are being administered, and beware of meats as the GENERAL rule. The wild game or fish may be taken in moderation, but rather the vegetables would be taken, would the body bring about the better conditions for the system.
12. Do as has been given.
13. The medicinal properties and the adjustments may be taken during the same period, see? The movements or the exercises taken between. The manipulation or the adjustments should be taken one every day, until at least the number as given is taken.

   "You probably won't remember me, however I knew you while in Selma. I have been suffering for years with something like rheumatism.
   "I have been examined by some of the leading M.D.'s with no results. Won't you please as early as possible tell me all you can. I have been unable to work for six months. Everything in a business way seems to be going dead wrong. Would also like to know something of that.
