6/08/26 EC's letter to [

Mrs. [

New Orleans, La.
Dear Mrs. [
4270]:
In accordance with the appointment, the reading, as you see,
was taken yesterday afternoon. I am certainly very much
in hopes you will find in this that which will be of untold
benefit to you, and toward your gaining your normal health.
As you can very well see from this, it will be necessary
for you to be very persistent with the application of those
things suggested, also that you should have check readings
made, and at such times I am sure it will be well for you and
your husband, or your doctor, to make questions as regarding
same, that we may try and offer the suggestion for the
conditions as they change, from time to time. I would
appreciate your letting me hear from you, for its our
desire to be of help if at all possible.
Hoping to have been of service, I am
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce EC:GD
8/19/26 Husband's report:
Mrs. [
4270] was delayed in beginning treatment, due in part
to her helpless condition and suffering, and also to the
difficulty in finding the Alpine ray machine where she
could arrange to take treatments.
She is at present in hospital, where she has been for the
past three weeks. There is a slight improvement in her
condition, in that she can move with a little less pain. Her
doctor has not deemed it advisable to give the high enemas
until he builds up her general condition. I think he hopes
to begin with the enemas soon.
Very truly yours, [...]
