This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce, at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 4th day of November, 1924, in accordance with request made by self - [4300].

TEXT

1. GC: You will give in detail the physical conditions of this body at the present time, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for the treatment and relief of this body.
2. EC: Now we find there are many changes in the body since last we had it here. Not all have been for the betterment of the physical forces of the body.
3. Now these are conditions as we find them in this body at the present time. First:
4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find has and carries some toxins as should be eliminated in the emunctories, and this gives distress to the centers and takes up the vitality, in locomotaries especially.
5. In the division in blood, we find the red supply below normal, while the leucocyte force or element very good. The lymphatic and white forces not normal.
6. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, we find there many conditions that retard and give the seat of distress in the functioning of the organs in the body, and with conditions produced in blood we find this assists in giving distress through the same channels.
7. In these centers and plexus, especially, do we find lesions: In the 9th, 10th, and 11th dorsal, in the 3rd and 4th lumbar, and sympathetically some in the lower cervical. These are the centers from which distresses in the body have and do radiate. This has caused the condition to be produced in the centers that radiate through hypogastric and pneumogastric plexus. Hence with the loading of the blood with the poisons from the system the hindering of the circulation in intestinal tract, causing conditions in the colon, the liver becomes clogged and the hepatic circulation throughout giving distress to liver, duodenum, pancreas, spleen. All in their turn or cycle aiding or hindering the distresses produced in the body from deflected nutrition and circulation from conditions in cerebro-spinal centers.
8. In the sympathetic system, with the mental strain on body under such conditions, gives the whole distress over the system.
9. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF ORGANS, brain forces very good.
10. Sensory organs, strain of nerve tension gives at times (more in past than at present) some sensitive conditions in the organs of sensory system.
11. Lungs, bronchials, throat, very good.
12. Through circulation, and through condition in lower cervicals, there has been distress in throat and bronchials. In the condition produced in blood, tonsils have shown how these assist in giving poisons in system.
13. In the cardiac plexus the condition is shown in the circulation and its pressure on heart's action.
14. In the intestinal tract, with these conditions existing, digestion has, and is, in a very low state, or abnormal, for there is not sufficient of the lacteal, or lacteal juices, thrown in the system, forming acid condition in the intestinal tract, not acted upon by gastric juices proper, nor by pancrean fluids, and the liver engorged gives and produces the inclination towards constipation, giving in the Peyer's Patches, or gland region, the absorption of poisons in the system, and the body has become one with toxins producing the condition throughout the whole system.
15. In the lower hepatic, in the kidney, circulation, in throwing off the drosses from system the body shows excess, though not organically deranged, save as the lumbar condition produces in pelvis.
16. To reduce then conditions, and bring the normal, we would correct by the deep manipulation, in the regions especially as given, correcting the minor conditions in stimulating and in taxing by manipulating centers so that the circulation is equalized to all organs in the body, stimulating the system in intestinal tract by electrical vibration that stimulates to the secretions and overcomes the constipation in the body. Well that high enemas of oil be taken, that the system may have that to create the basis for its secretions.
17. These should be taken at least twice each week until the stimulation has given sufficient in system to create the balance, equalizing circulation, stimulating liver, and we will bring the normal conditions for this body, [4300].
