2/09/31 (Monday P.M.) [
4317]'s ltr. to EC:
My dear Mr. Cayce,
Pardon pencil and brevity of this letter as I am in bed at
Buxton Hospital Room 205, where I will be when you give my
reading on Thursday.
Am interested mainly in my health - will I ever get entirely
over this nervous condition of the past three years and how
to go about it. Doctors can find nothing organically wrong
but have recently removed my tonsils. Will I get to know
some peace and comfort in body and mind. My body is one mass
of torment, my head is extremely tense and painful in back,
my body seems to go at a great speed rate, so when I am
resting I am always exhaustedly sick. No amounts of
reasoning on my part can overcome the extreme fear and
anxiety that is part of me, my heart palpitates continually
with it. It is impossible for me to sleep and sometimes doze
off only one hour of the twenty-four. The sensations that
come over my body are agonizing and I have died a thousand
deaths - and become a coward.
If you can help me, please do so. At least I hope there will
be the assurance that I will get well. Let me hear as soon
as possible.
At present am scarcely able to walk, and cannot come to your
house to be present at the reading.
Thanking you for what you will do, I am,
Sincerely yours, [

Dear Mrs. [
4317]
We are enclosing the rather extraordinary information which
we were able to get for you this afternoon. As you will see,
the reading was not taken yesterday afternoon at the
appointed time - for I was not feeling able myself.
I certainly hope you will find this helpful, and if there is
anything you do not understand or would like to ask questions
concerning, please do not hesitate.
Hoping that we have been and may be of service, I am
Sincerely,
