8/19/27 EC's letter to [
4328]'s son:
Mr. [...]
Philadelphia, Pa.
My dear Mr. [...]
Replying to yours of the 8th, I'm certainly sorry to know
your mother has been growing steadily worse. The condition
you give is a very subtle one, and I'm sure must bring about
untold suffering.
We shall be glad to make an appointment for a reading, and
if you will give your mother's address - where she is
constantly - we will possibly be able to make this sometime
next week. I know - by past experience - there have been
times when the readings have offered ease with such
conditions, where everything else had failed. I remember one
case very particularly, where a relative of a very prominent
physician in the South had been suffering with headaches and
pain for about six weeks, when there was a reading taken.
The suggestions that were given brought relief almost
immediately, and - as the doctor said - he knew that what was
given her could not possibly be as detrimental to the heart's
action as the many various things HE had tried for several
weeks - and while it did not bring a cure, the relief that
was brought this body he considered marvellous. I certainly
like to be of help if possible.
Trusting that we may be able to do so, I am
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce EC:GD
