3/27/28 EC's letter to [
4330]'s father:
"Yours of the 20th to hand. Certainly very glad to hear
from you. Many thanks for sending me the receipted bill from
Mr. Hale's firm [Reporters]. They wrote me rather an ugly
letter, but I knew that - or felt very sure that - all these
had been taken care of.
"I certainly am indeed glad to know that the baby shows some
improvement. It's certainly quite interesting to know the
attitude of the doctor, and to know he agrees with that
suggested in the reading. They may all hoot or make fun
if they want to, but it does look to me, that, where we so
consistently have such reports as this, no one could justly
say it was bunk. I certainly am in hopes the baby continues
to improve, and I trust you will let me hear from you
occasionally - and, as I told you when we were there, I would
in the course of some weeks have a check reading to know
whether he is improving just as would like to have him
improve, or not.
"We seem to be making some progress with our building
program, and I'm hoping that in the not far distant
future the building will be a reality.
"Let me hear from you whenever you find the opportunity.
Please remember me to Mrs. [...]. My wife sends kindest
regards to you both."
Yours sincerely, Edgar Cayce
