GKN: Now, Mr. Cayce, you are going to sleep, a quiet, peaceful and restful sleep. All the organs of your body will function perfectly - you will be normal in every way. You will hear me what I say and answer the questions I shall ask you slowly and distinctly so that we may get every word. Now, Mr. Cayce, you are asleep, and you have before you the body of Mrs. [4377], who is at the ... House in Biloxi, Miss. You will see this body and go over it carefully and tell us what the trouble is, if anything, and what to do for it to make it normal again.
EC: Yes, we have the body here. This body and the things connected with this body would make a very wonderful study for those studying the connection between things spiritual, physical and mental, for the disintegration of the potent parts of these are close to their separation at this time, those parts now in this body. As far as adding to the years, of the days of this body, you can render assistance from the physical pains that bear on the mental, that are making the spiritual the closer and better for the future development of the body; but none that would give, or bring the normal physical body back to this plane again. The action of the life-giving fluids to the physical is becoming more and more obese, with the expectancy of the final lapse between regaining its control again, and of the other beings taking control of the physical and going on with their destruction throughout the whole system, so that the potent factors in the vibration giving life and heat to the parts in this body are already showing that they are gradually hardening. They are gradually giving in to the things which are making the physical the more unbearable to the mental or soul and spirit of the body. Let us keep them separate just for the differences here. They are one within one, one within all. Those through the soul and matter that have to do with hereditary conditions are carried on and brought from one soul to another and become, what is termed in a normal world, hereditary. See? That is, that which is brought over from one soul to another through whatever channel the spirit may choose to direct this, yet the individuality which we are all attempting to attain and be able to carry on, are made within the life. Catch the difference between the two? As of this body here, factors really have been brought to bear on the mind and body, that is mental and physical forces, that have caused and have brought about the beginning of those things that are at cross, or variance, with the development of spiritual forces; that is as they are expressed on the earth plane within this body here, so that the warring has become between the spiritual force in this body and the individuality that it is attempting to make, which has been smothered and suppressed by others that have come into conjunction with, or in association with this body.
The physical defects that attack this body at the present time we find have to do with the organs themselves within this model or physical body, so that the heart action is becoming gradually more abnormal, the lung force and power are keeping the vibrations to these portions, and add new force and life, because all life is electrical force, and by a vibratory force gives out and vibrates according to whatever the motive force is in the individual. As these forces have failed to apply to the other physical forces throughout the body, the gradual disintegration, the gradual hardening of all mucous cellular forces of units, of self to recreate, have become gradually separated and gradually give way to the other forces. The body is preparing itself for the next life that it is to lead, and be separated from this troublesome thing that has been brought into its life here. More forces that normal life, that is electrical forces as created within a normal body, should be applied with manipulation to the centers close about the solar plexus. The solar plexus is that which houses (let us separate all the conditions and gather them to where we have the proper formation) all desire in a normal body, through all the sympathetic and soul and spirit forces in the human body, it is that which receives the first vibrations from the unity of desire, from the parent or where the beginning was, or whenever the thought was first expressed, that this thought first begins and becomes centralized within one single individual, and becomes the individual within itself, the individual that is to be thrown off to either create or destroy itself within its own self.
About the 9th or 10th dorsal we would create more heat, that is with electrical force thrown off from the hands and after treatment and relaxion [relaxation?] to these portions of the body, which would be given every other day, we would apply heat to the 4th lumbar, which catches the second below the vertebrae, giving off these portions to the system and to the 5th dorsal, giving more heat and vibration to the blood supply coming in through the secondary cardiac plexus, and giving into the system the bromides that will add to this to create a soothing effect to the physical body:
This is added to 3 ozs. peptotol as a carrier; dose morning and evening, 3 drops half glass of water. Do this.
(Q) Before or after meals, Mr. C?
(A) Disregarding meals. This body does not eat very much. Morning on awakening, evenings before sleeping.
(Q) What form of electrical treatment Mr. C?
(A) Only that obtained from a physical body. Through the manipulation of the hands to this portion of the body, - 9th and 10th dorsal - by the friction of these together. Also bathing the body with bicarbonate of soda water and an application of salt packs to this body for a few minutes. These alternate days being treated five to ten minutes. We are only giving rest to the physical body to build the soul and spirit.
(Q) Is the climate in Biloxi good for this body, Mr. C?
(A) Better than most others. None would make any difference save a change. It would not be well to move. For as it should be, each individual holds to the present situation, and clings to the condition, no matter what it is, as long as possible. This body is well in years, the race has been run and the life has been set.
