DIRECTIONS FOR WET CELL BATTERY - by Gray Salter
Dr. [
4410]'s reading of July 29, 1931
Upon receiving battery, cleanse jar thoroughly. First add
one and one-half (1 1/2) gallon of uncontaminated rain water,
caught in either glass or porcelain receptacle. Cistern
water, or water caught from down-spout should not be
used, as this has come in contact with other metals and is
contaminated. The receptacle should be set in such a place
as dust or dirt will not get in same, and let the water be
caught this way.
After putting water in battery jar, add the chemicals in
number One, Two, Three, Four. After adding number Two,
let the solution set for about thirty seconds before adding
number Three, the small metal cuts. Again after adding
number Three, let the battery set for a second or two until
the bubbling in solution starts, then add number Four and
stir solution with glass rod or wooden stick until it is
thoroughly mixed. Replace top on battery jar, and connect
the wires to the clips in top of the box, being sure to keep
the negative and positive sides straight. These are marked
by the Negative and Positive side. Now the battery is ready
for application.
Fasten the plate to the patient as directed in reading. This
part of the reading should be studied carefully, so as no
confusion will be made in the applying of these places to the
correct portion of body. After plates are strapped securely
in place, attach the wires to the battery. The plates
should be alternated each time battery is given, applying the
positive plate first one time, then the negative plate first;
also alternating these to the body - the positive to the
12th and 11th dorsal center and the negative to the 4th and
5th cervical centers, as given, then in the next treatment
apply the negative first to the 12th and 11th dorsal and the
positive to the 4th and 5th cervical. These should be kept
alternated each time.
This battery should be recharged every eighteen to twenty-two
days. The chemicals in right amounts and strength can be
obtained from Mr. Cayce. Any repairs should be sent to this
office. If any difficulty is encountered in applying this
battery, let us know so that we can help you to understand
just how it should be applied.
