(Q) What will give this child normal speech, as in other
children, Mr. Cayce?
(A) Just as we have added here to the faculties of the body
and to the cellular force. We reach all of the forces as
applied through all nerve energy in the sensory system,
just as we have described in the system here. We must reach
through the solar plexus here to the forces that have to do
with desire or expectancy, and those forces will reach the
brain and give back through the centers of the nervous system
the vibration giving speech, and activity to all the senses
of hearing, sight, smell, touch and feeling; and as these
vibrations are given off they will reach their indentation,
which in this child comes from the left side; and these will
give their impression to the mental side of expression.
There are some glands that function under the individuality,
and become capable of creating certain cells in themselves;
just as we have the connection between these here at the
second cycle or beginning, you see? and as this body grows
they will develop along. But the forces that are to be
supplied in its development are those that were not added
during the normal gestation, and they must be added by the
souls of the parents through the same force as we have given;
one to apply through the waking state and one in the sleeping
state, and through suggestion to the cellular force to carry
suggestion to the whole body. These will be varied from time
to time but they must produce in the physical body the love,
or central force or unit, necessary to reproduce in itself.
Do that, and we will bring through, with tedious force, a
being above the normal in its soul and spiritual development.
(Q) Are there any other details, Mr. Cayce?
(A) Do this, and we will find the results will be just
as they are desired by those bodies who produced this
individual.
(Q) Shall osteopathic treatment be continued?
(A) Only as a means to keep the physical body in a normal
state. The force to add to this body must be given as we
have given here. Do that. We are through.
BACKGROUND
GD's note: A picture of the child in her folder indicates
normal appearance, age about
6-7 years. Perhaps lack of
speech was the main difficulty. Reading given on April 2,
1921.
