9/02/31 EC's letter: Replying to your letter of the 20th,
I am sure - if you are very consistent and persistent in
carrying out the treatments suggested - you are going to
find relief. Have you been having the colonic irrigations
regularly? It is hard to say whether the chiropractor or
osteopath would be the better. There are SOME chiropractors
better than ANY osteopath, but MOST osteopaths are better
than the chiropractor. That can only be determined by the
information itself. I'm sure the colonics, properly given,
are the things that should give you the most relief, and with
those electrical vibrations that should be given at night
this should enable you to rest - and I believe it will, if
properly done. That's the electrically driven vibrator,
which is used about the time you are ready to retire. It
may be applied by yourself or someone in your home.
I wish to thank you for your letter. I feel sure - as you
can see indicated by the information - that if you drink
buttermilk and it agrees with you, why it will be alright.
You will find, however, that you will have to change from
these from time to time. For many people buttermilk makes
for gas, unless they use citrocarbonates or something to keep
down acid; though buttermilk is not acid forming in itself.
There are just some systems it does not agree with. You can
tell better by trying it out. So I think the program should
be a little coffee of morning, a glass of buttermilk at
either of the other meals - if you find that it agrees
with you.
Be sure to let me know if you have gotten your prescription
filled properly and are taking that regularly. How many
colonics have you had already? I don't mean high enemas.
I mean colonic irrigations!
Hoping that we may be of service, and that you are feeling a
great deal better, I am
Sincerely, EC:GD

Dear Mr. Cayce
I have not meant to neglect your letters but have waited for
more favorable results before writing you.
I have had the prescription filled and have taken the
medicine regularly. I have tried both osteopath and
chiropractic and have taken all but one colonic as you
directed, - and at times am very nervous yet. I sleep
very poorly.
If you have further suggestions for me how I can further
overcome nervousness and sleeping badly I shall be delighted
to hear from you. I feel sure the tonic you prescribed has
helped me very much.

12/18/31 EC's letter: I was indeed very glad to have yours
of the 14th, and to know that you have at least gotten some
results from following the suggestions outlined. I hardly
know just how to advise you about conditions at the present
time. However, I should think that - where such conditions
have been of some time standing - you will find it necessary
to have periods of the treatments and then periods of rest,
that there may be the proper reactions in the system. I'm
sure most any of the physicians will tell you this.
It might be that we could get further suggestions respecting
you condition through the information. We will be glad to
make an appointment for you, if you so desire. As to what
would be the result, of course, I cannot tell - for it's
impossible for us to make a promise of any kind, as we can
only tell you the experience of others.
5/05/32 Mr. Frank E. Mohr's letter: "I had a talk with Mrs.
[
4472].
"About ten days ago she complained the treatment didn't do
her much good, said she could not stand hard osteopathic
treatment. I told her it hurt me, too, but I had to stand
it to get well. She said she could not. I suppose she has
written you for a check up reading."
6/03/32 Mr. Mohr's letter: "Did Mrs. [
4472] write you? She
told me she would."
