9/15/32 EC's letter to [
4488]'s brother, Mr. [
315]:
"...In regard to yours of recent date, I have no doubt but
what the chiropractor will be able to make adjustments that
will be very helpful for your brother's condition. This is
as indicated in the Reading. However, I believe you would
find the use of the Radio-Active Appliance carrying the
strychnine in solution, that would be attached to the body,
really better than taking the Digitalis tablet internally;
for this is only a temporary relief, as you will see
indicated in the Reading, than would be the use of the
strychnine the vibrations of which the body would receive
without having to carry it through the system to the
detriment of some other portions of the functioning organism,
and would eventually be much more helpful, provided, of
course, the body responds to the chiropractic adjustments.
"I believe Miss [
2096] has one of the Radio-Active
Appliances; however, it would be necessary in order for you
to use the solution that you order extra leads for this. I
think you could have these made up for about $2.00 by Mr.
Gray Salter, Route 2, Box 20, Hopkinsville, Ky. Then it
would only be necessary to get the solution, dissolving the
strychnine in it, to use in applying the battery to the body,
and that the INHALING of the foxglove leaves occasionally
should be followed as outlined. That there has been the
response indicated in your letter would indicate that the
treatments may be helpful if followed out rather
consistently.
"Hoping this explanation will be satisfactory, and trusting
that we may be of service, appreciating your faith and
confidence in writing as you have..."
11/12/32 [
4488]'s brother, Mr. [
315], requested a personal
Reading, also: "...Could you tell whether my brother [
4488]
is getting better? Chiropractor requires an X-ray. Do you
know if this is absolutely necessary? Kindly rush..."
11/19/32 Letter: "...Brother [
4488] seems in very poor
condition. Engaged chiropractor doesn't seem to be getting
anywhere. It seems that his condition is hopeless..."
