This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the Tutwiler Hotel, Birmingham, Alabama, this 15th day of November, 1922.

1. EC: Yes we have the body here. Now we find there is little abnormal in this body that is not being, by normal or nature's means, being taken care of. There may be other conditions brought about that may hasten the action of nature's attention and bring the more perfect unison of forces in their action about the system and to assist in making the more perfect co-ordinations within this body.
2. Now these are conditions as we find in this body, [4492], we are speaking of: Those conditions that are abnormal, for we will only give these, for without there being almost a perfect unison of the oneness of elemental forces to bring the body to normal forces again, he would not have gone as far toward development as he has, so we find the blood forces, the nerve forces, the organic conditions of most of the organs functioning through natural channels, though not all through perfect accord. The abnormal forces that may be assisted to bring about the perfect conditions would have to do with those portions of the ganglions of the nerve centers that feed to the nerve tissue of the head and eyes especially, and of the correct diet to produce the specific elements needed to furnish the system with the proper incentives when absorbed and used in the system, so we must consider the thought and study of the mind forces as well as the physical, but we would take these properties as the correct diet for this body under present conditions, see: Those that tend to keep the blood pure and to give nerve stimulus to the whole body; not but very little meats should be eaten and no hog meats at all, fish, game, wild game, and vegetables such as carrots, celery, lettuce, potatoes, salsify; not but very little of those that are of the acid nature of any character, see. In fruits often eating pears especially. Of exercises of a specific nature as to strengthen the muscles of the right brachial plexus and those plexus above that to the first line or nerve of the cerebrum, that is, those from the 3rd dorsal to the 1st cervical. Take those exercises himself, you see. This will give with the diets as outlined the correct incentives and sooner bring the normal condition again to the head, the eye and all of the functioning of the sensory organism. This body, [4492], we are speaking of is especially gifted of the Gods toward things of the spiritual or mystic, so study to show himself to prove [approved] unto them and one, who need not be ashamed but rightly dividing the words of truth and karma.
3. (Q) Mr. Cayce, with the prescription and diet you have recommended for this body, how long will it require to restore the normal condition of the eye and eyelids.
   (A) Within ninety-four or five days.
4. (Q) Mr. Cayce, what brought on this trouble with this body?
   (A) Concussion to the forces in the cranium.
