8/11/25 [
4522]'s letter to EC:
My dear Mr. Cayce
Thank you for your prompt response to my request for a
reading.
Here are the questions I would like answered, if possible -
and any other answers or thoughts that you may be able to
give me:
1. Does body honestly love person who fills her thoughts at
present time.
2. Does this person love body to same extent?
3. Will this person ever be free from present ties to marry
body? If so, how long will it take to obtain freedom?
4. Does this person really want to free himself from
present ties - will he make effort to do so - and if so
what steps will he have to take.
5. Are body and this person suited to each other in all
respects conducive to real happiness?
6. If this person is free, will it cause unhappiness to his
present ties?
7. Will it give this person peace of mind and less
unhappiness to part from body now - and continue in
his past relationships?
8. Will this person know peace of mind, happiness, and no
misery through association with body.
I will be at the office of the ..., New York City, at three
o'clock Eastern Standard Time, on Wednesday, August 12th,
1925.
Please send me this reading by special delivery mail, for
which I enclosed proper postage.
Thank you for your kind assistance, and believe me to be
appreciative of same.
Cordially yours, [

Miss [
4522]
New York City
Dear Miss [
4522]:
Yours of the 11th is received and I'm afraid what I have
to say will be disappointing to you, for while I know this
is one of the most important things in your life, and one
wherein perhaps you need counsel and advice as much as you
need for your physical health, still the questions you desire
to know are not such that I feel that it is my privilege
even to furnish you the information, even though I desire to
so, for it concerns principally someone else and their most
inward feelings and desires, and that one has made no request
that such information be given to anyone. I am in hopes that
you will view this in the manner in which I try to look at
this and will know that I'm not trying to be actuated by
anything save the very best for all concerned. I'm very
much in hopes that these matters and conditions will adjust
themselves and that you will find the peace and happiness in
whatever place that is the right and best.
Assuring you of my desire to be of help whenever it is
possible to do so, and with kindest personal regards, I am
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce EC:GD
