4/04/25 EC's letter to [
4544]:
Mrs. [
4544],
..., Ohio
Dear Mrs. [
4544]:
Replying to yours of the 1st, will say I do not know whether
the Peptotol is the name of some preparation, prepared by
some manufacturer as a carrier for other medicinal properties
or not. I'm sure there must be such a thing, or it would not
have been given. However, this perhaps may be prepared in
simple syrup, or properties of such nature that would make a
carrier for the properties as given. I'm sorry that you've
had trouble in locating this. One of these things I'm sure
comes of my not being better acquainted with some of the
druggists.
Should you desire to send this to a drug store in the South,
I'm sure you would have it prepared by the Sellers Drug
Company, Fourth Avenue and Twentieth Street, Birmingham,
Alabama. These are manufacturing druggists. Or to the
Hamrick Drug Company, Dexter Avenue, Montgomery, Alabama,
Attention of Mr. Earl Hall. Either of these people would be
glad to make it up and send it to you. It's the first one
we have ever had that the man in Dayton did not have the
properties or did not get them for the body, as he has sent
many preparations to people in many parts of the country.
I'm sure though that these two I've given you can prepare
same.
I appreciate your writing me, and I assure you if I can be of
any further service, I should like very much to do so.
With kindest personal regards,
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce EC:GD

Kindly advise us in the space below if you have followed
all, or any part, of the suggestions given in your reading of
March 26, 1925, and give us in detail the exact results you
have obtained.
My wife has received good results from taking your medicine.
She has followed your instructions through with exception of
the electric treatment - we couldn't get it in Middletown.

5/08/25 EC's letter to husband:
Mr. [...]
..., Ohio
Dear Mr. [...]:
The form and your letter regarding Mrs. [
4544] was received.
I'm sorry that your wife has been ill but trust by this time
she has greatly improved.
It is gratifying to know that the medicinal properties
suggested for Mrs. [
4544] have been of benefit, but I'm sure
if she could get the osteopathic treatments also that it
would be a great deal better. As the real seat of the
trouble cannot be removed by merely taking the medicine.
When Mrs. [
4544] was here, she intimated that she might
possibly come to Dayton for the osteopathic treatments if she
could not get them in Middletown. I'm hoping that she will
do this.
Trusting that Mrs. [
4544] is a great deal better and that we
may hear from her soon, we are
Sincerely, ASS'N OF NAT'L INVESTIGATORS
