This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce in Room 901 at the LaSalle Hotel, Chicago, Illinois, this 8th day of March, 1928, in accordance with request made by self - Miss [4565], via Mr. F. F. Bradley.

TEXT

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now we find there are conditions of which the body should be warned rather than of existent conditions that cause distress to that point where the general replenishing of vitality in the system might not correct, yet were those conditions that are as weaknesses or as elements that need that correction in the present condition not heeded, there would arise those conditions that would not be in accord with the best development of the body, mentally and physically.
2. These then are conditions as we find them with this body, [4565] we are speaking of, is present in this room.
3. First, in the blood supply here we find evidence of an improper elimination existent in the system. This that of which the greater warning would be given, else we would find the various conditions in functioning organs would first become involved unless there were added that which would counter-balance or counteract condition being created by the non-eliminations as are existent in portions of the system. These as we see would be some of the resultant conditions from that as exist. However, this is evident in itself that there is the ability of conditions arising that would change the outcome, but these are given as from present existent conditions.
4. First as is seen from that existent in the duodenum and the pancreas here we find the condition as evidenced by the non-elimination of poisonous as should be taken from the system shows evidence of too much sugars be created in the system and the alcohol as is created by this extra fermentation gives improper reaction in the intestinal system especially in that functioning of the portions about the colon and in the region of the appendix. In the effect this creates is rather that of the over-supply to the system that brings that of a toxin that would eventually prove as precious to various centers in the nerve system, especially in that of the hypo-gastric and the pneumogastric ganglion.
5. This present has sent distresses to the liver and kidneys that is, provided the condition was not corrected in its first existency.
6. In the nerve system - this we find good in many respects. The cerebro spinal center or brain forces good with good judgment, good discrimination and inclined to be especially highly developed from a psychic standpoint. This would be especially interesting through the influences as are radiated from relativity of emotion and of the astral aspects in life.
7. In the cerebro spinal system we find these are very good save in the secondary cardiac plexus which as seen causes at times this tiredness or across the back just below the shoulder blade - not that of the pulmonary reaction but of an over-strain in the lower ganglion as given and a reflex to this center.
8. The sympathetic nervous system of the body especially highly attuned and often the entity or body mind realizes that it knows what an individual is going to say before it has said it.
9. In the functioning of the organs themselves, these are normal especially when this condition is existent as has been given regarding eliminations and effect has produced directly and reflexly on the functioning of organs in their action in system.
10. Then to meet the needs of these conditions: First, we would have those corrections necessarily that need correction in the cerebro spinal nerve system, especially in the cervical and upper dorsal region taking those properties that will act as creator of more existent within the systems digestive system which will be found in taking Occy-Cristine, only taking 1 teaspoonful to four glasses of water, and drink all four glasses once each day. Then take morning and evening special physical exercises that will keep proper equalization of nerve strain throughout the system; of evenings exercise the lower portion of system from the hips or from the diaphragm down; of mornings exercise from the waist or diaphragm up for 10 to 15 minutes the regular exercises as would be seen from any normal physical exercise specifically taken for the rejuvenation of muscular reaction in these portions of the body. Do that and within 2 to 15 days we will find near normal functioning body. Ready for questions.
11. (Q) Any restrictions on diet?
    (A) The body rather a good dietitian. Just don't eat too late suppers.
12. (Q) Will the eye trouble be corrected?
    (A) This a reflex from the cervical region and a sympathetic trouble. The head and neck exercises will correct this condition with the osteopathic corrections of those centers in and near the secondary cardiac plexus.
13. (Q) How many osteopathic treatments should be taken?
    (A) Three to five would be sufficient taken every other day.
14. (Q) Regarding psychic powers of this entity. Are they dormant or active and how may they be developed?
    (A) They are dormant and active as given - the mental forces and the psychic reaction - the body, the consciousness often knows what is going to be said before it is spoken. This may be developed especially along the lines of reading characteristics in individuals as they present themselves. The entity, the body especially gifted in this line.
15. (Q) Will you explain the portion of the mind, sub-conscious and physical that brings this development and enables her to do it.
    (A) Rather that of the relativity of the mental and subconscious development of the entity rather than as individual though it is in one individual. This gives then with the mental, is acute to those vibrations that are radiated by individuals, that acumen or consciousness within self of that which the entity thinks, feels or thinks he thinks, or they think. 16. (Q) Is it telepathic in a sense?
    (A) Rather that of radiation than telepathic, relatively radiating from a different source, by taking more of mental while this goes deeper. This involves the development in other spheres now manifest in this sphere as a soul of this entity - to put it physically - the development of the soul and manifesting in this sense in the present life of the entity.
