6/15/27 Mother [
629]'s letter: "I am enclosing a ck. for $10
and would ask you to kindly give [
4613] another rdg. We are
following your instructions exactly as given. We have given
[
4613] 28 treatments and as we expect to go away July the 1st
or 4th I would ask you to kindly to give [
4613] another rdg.
at once and advise us just how to proceed.
"[
4613] is very restless during the night, otherwise seems
more cheerful.
"If you will write me when you will give [
4613] the rdg. I
will be sure to keep him home at your given time without
answering you so as to save time you see?
"We are giving [
4613] the osteopathic treatments every other
day as per your instructions."
7/25/27 Letter from [
554] to EC: "Your letter sent to
Philadelphia containing the notice of your reading of
July 11, did not reach us until today owing to our change of
address for the summer to ..., Long Island.
"Will you kindly let me know by return mail whether you can
give another rdg. while [
4613] is in ...
"In regards to his treatment, in making the move to ... we
were unable to give his treatment for about 10 days as we
were not able to get the solution made quickly. [
4613] is
feeling much better than he did when Mrs. [
629] wrote you."
8/02/27 Letter from GD to Mr. [
554]: "Your ltr. of the 25th,
addressed to Mr. Cayce, received. We are very sorry that we
have not been able to comply with your request before this -
but with the changes as have been taking place (of which you
are possibly aware, from data sent you regarding Assoc. of
National Investigators, Inc.) delay has been caused, but we
are now ready to make appointments under the operation of the
Assoc., and we hope that you will send us your application
for membership to the Assoc. at once, that we may make the
appointment right away.
"We realize, Mr. [
554], this works considerable hardship for
those who are desirous of rdgs. immediately, but we trust the
delay will not be harmful at this time, and we feel so sure
that when we once have this work functioning in its proper
way and manner, we will be so much better able to serve
mankind, individually and collectively.
"Hoping that we may hear from you at once..."
9/02/27 Mother [
629]'s letter to EC: "Your ltr. of Aug. 31st
received. It will be entirely satisfactory for us to have a
rdg. on Friday, Sept 9, 1927.
"[
4613] sleeps so poorly during the night. I wish something
could be done for him in that respect. Am sorry we lost some
time through leaving Phila. but hope we will be able to go
right ahead with a cure for [
4613] in the future."
