To meet the needs then of these conditions, as we find in
this body, Mrs. [
4789] we are speaking of, we would prepare
this as a tonic for the body: First prepare four (4) ounces
wild cherry bark in sixteen (16) ounces of water - distilled
water. Reduce by simmering (not boiling) to one-half (1/2)
the quantity. Then add:
Compound Syrup of Sarsaparilla............1 ounce,
Tincture Stillingia.....................1/2 ounce,
Oil of Sassafras........................1/4 ounce,
Simple Syrup............................1/2 ounce,
Iodide of Potassium 10% solution........1/2 ounce,
Bromide of Potassium 10% solution.........1 ounce,
Elixir Calisaya.........................1/2 ounce,
Tincture Capsici..........................5 minims,
Pure Grain Alcohol........................1 ounce.
Shake solution to-gether before dose is taken. The dose
should be half to teaspoonful at least four (4) times
each day. This, as seen, will act as a cathartic in a
mild manner, but rather as one that will stimulate the
eliminations and excretions in the ilium plexuses. Also
stimulate the body at least every other day by deep
manipulations, osteopathically given, that the distribution
and the eliminations may be carried properly to all portions
of the system, so that absorption may take place and
lesions (lateral) that are formed along the whole of the
cerebro-spinal system - especially in the 9th to the 4th
dorsal - are broken up. Also keep the body WARM, and do
not take cold.
In the diet, be careful of meats. Preferably of gruels,
cereals, fruits and nuts, rather than of flesh. Little fish,
or any carrying iodine (as any of the shell fish) may be used
in moderation. Do not mix same, however, with milk. The
action of these would be detrimental to the system. As much
of the tomato as the body will assimilate will be found well
in keeping an equal balance in the vitims [vitamins] for the
system.
Do this as given and we will bring much better conditions for
this body, preventing any accumulations in the form of tumor
- as indicated in plethora condition existent in the portions
of the system - yet not well defined to that state where
these may not be eliminated, were the proper precautions
taken as given. Ready for questions.
(Q) What is the cause of exhausted feeling?
(A) Inability of the system to distribute the vitality
necessary, by the inability of elimination and assimilation
to be equalized, as given.
We are through for the present.
