This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce in New York City (?), in 1921 (?).

TEXT

1. EC: The abnormal conditions as we find in this body have to do with the nerve forces of the action of the distribution of nerve forces from the brain center being caused by conditions that exist through the muscular forces about the body.
2. To begin here, at the head, we find at the first cervical of the entrance of the nerves, gastric nerves to the brain. It is in the lower part of the cerebellum caused by congestive muscular forces. This has been produced at time back by some concussion or pressure to the head and caused the muscular contraction of these until distribution of the nerve operation through the nerve forces function improperly and become taut or distracted through brain tract to the nerve forces. The distraction of the nerve forces has brought about the condition of these nerve forces to this portion of head, so we have congestion that forms at times to the blood supply to electrical used forces in the brain center themselves, or through the upper part of the brain or that portion of the first cervical entrance to the brain itself, there we have the congestion and at this third and fourth cervical we have reflex lateral congestion; in the 6th dorsal we have congestion showing the affect that the nerve forces have over the heart action, then we have the reflex action coming to the body. At the solar plexus, or the 9th dorsal we have the reflex condition showing the effect that comes to all of the gastric organs and that is causing a condition of the action of the heart forces through the congested forces shown at times.
3. To relieve the condition throughout this body will be of a long, tedious condition to be brought about in the body, yet, give the proper balance, the proper incentive forces to this body, to give the proper equilibrium, both to the brain forces and the action and distribution of this body to its normal condition again, we would apply to this body those forces as we would give in the application of Neuropath forces with electrical forces to the base of brain and that will give the different vibration to all of the nerve forces themselves, causing deeper nerve all along the spine from the first cervical to the 9th dorsal which will give the proper distribution of the nerve forces of the blood supply to the nerve forces, so that all of the ganglia about the 9th and 6th dorsals and first cervical carry off the proper distribution of both blood supply and nerve forces as are given for these centers, and we would apply when this is being treated electric forces of the low vibration, which would be prepared in this manner and form:
4. Carbon Steel Bar - 1-1/2" to 2" long x 1" in diameter, to which would be attached an electric wire or some copper wire to a small bar that it may be attached to the wrist and to the ankle. This would be placed in water that is cold with ice, in which there is copper of sulfate - 1 lb. - sulfuric acid 1 oz. with 6 drams of zinc. The water will be made cold with ice before the battery is placed with the iron and then this is placed on the wrist evening and morning, first to the left wrist and to the right ankle, then to the right wrist and to the left ankle, for twenty minutes.
5. As he goes about from day to day with the treatment you will find we will bring this body to its normal condition and relieve this condition of the brain forces and other parts of the body affected by same has nothing to do with the existing trouble to the head. As we find, if you will do these you will find he will do for himself and others also. He is past 16 years old. We have given the conditions necessary to bring this body to normal so that we would have him well.
