TEXT

LBC: You have before you Mr. [4841] who is in this room. His body is before you now. You will see him.
EC: Yes, we have him here. We have had him before.
LBC: I want you to go over him carefully, examine him thoroughly and tell us what his condition is now.
EC: Now, in this body here of [4841] the condition as we find in the body is not so good as we had before in many respects. In some there is not so much difference, but others are some for the better.
Now, you see, we have here in this body as a unit in the whole is almost of a perfect, [specimen?] in the stature, build, physique, mental activities, the whole system when working in unison together.
The destruction of the cellular force of matter through the duodenum and pancreas has brought about the condition of the body as we have had before. The activity of the circulation through these, carrying and distributing these poisons back into the system here, has produced the reduction to the lymphatic circulation of the blood force in the system to rebuild, giving to the body that tired, worn out feeling, as we have had at times to the system. The lack of the blood, or the right quality of blood, being carried through the system; the non-activity of the digestion: that is, in the duodenum, (the digestion in the stomach is better than in the intestines) as we have through the whole digestive system, as it shows itself through this, produces to the system the condition we have over the body as we had before.
The activity of parts onto the system now, between what we had before and what we have here, to that of the lower intestine or colon here, to that of the storehouse of the dross of the system, is improved and is better. Through its activities that of the small intestine and pancreas and duodenum is not as good, because we have more inflammation through lower end of the stomach; hence we have more of the acidity passing through the epiglottis and showing itself in its form of action over the system.
Sympathetically, the condition of the forces produces this activity to the splenic force. In its action to the nervous and mental arrangement of the body, or to the sensory organism of the system; through that of the liver, and through the inactivity of the liver to produce the proper juices to act on the digestion through the lower intestines; through the activity of that of the circulation of these forces thrown out over the whole system, carrying the poisons to the extremities and the capillary circulation in the body.
To remove the condition as we have over the system, take that into the system, into the intestines and stomach, those of a nature which acts to the rebuilding of forces and as an absorbent to remove the acidity state in the stomach and intestines: First, into the system what we have now; plenty of water. Cleanse out as much as possible. Then to the system that of water carrying the cellular force of elm. That is, water produced from the bark of the elm, to act as a rebuilding force to the mucus coat of the intestine and lower duodenum itself.
Then we take into the system that pertaining to iron, to activity to that of the blood forces, or rebuilding in the body, as we have had some here before, but not the oils; those of sulphur and soda as an absorbent to the system.
Produce a unison of the electrical forces in the system, or the nerves, along the spine, at the solar plexus, secondary cardiac, upper celiac and upper dorsals. We may see to an activity along the whole system to produce a unison of nerve and muscular and circulatory force, either by hand or those of electrical force, or by both.
(Q) Any other treatment?
(A) The same as we have here, but taking into the system here these forces: First, to cleanse it as much as possible. You see, we are forming along here on the sides of the duodenum, those of the formations of inflammation of the mucus lining of the duodenum. Pure water first. Then those into the system of the elm and water to act to that of the mucus coating of the duodenum itself, and the stomach and upper intestines. Then those with these as we are taking, those of beef, iron and pepsin to act as digestive.
And let those of the diet be of matters of easy digestion to the upper intestine and stomach, so that we pass into the duodenum, pancreas and upper intestines to that of a lactic state. The body will improve and get better. There should be the whole balancing of the whole of the system of such a nature as to produce activity in the body itself, if we put the proper things to act on the system. We have a perfectly balanced system at normality, when the body is normal.
(Q) Any other treatment for the present?
(A) Do this and he will get better from the first.

REPORTS

9/28/76 GD's note: Edgar Cayce's father, Mr. L. B. Cayce, who conducted both of Mr. [4841]'s readings, told me that Mr. [4841] did get better, but he died a few years later - somewhere in the late twenties. In 1940 when we were trying to get in touch with people who had early readings, Edgar Cayce himself told me that Mr. [4841] had passed on some years ago.
