Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc.
Virginia Beach, Ohio
Dear Sir:
Would you please give me a reading at your earliest
convenience?
I understand that I would receive the same courtesy as my
husband. By that I mean that I get the same as a check
reading as he had his first reading in May.
Will send money order as soon as the reading is received.
List of Questions:
1. What is wrong with my husband and me? Is it financial,
stubbornness, or is there another woman?
Will he come back to me? If he does will we get along
better? When will he return? If not does he intend to
get a divorce? On what grounds?
2. What kind of work should I get into to forget this
trouble? Am I too old to become a nurse? Would I make a
good one? Where should I go to take this training?
If it be some other work as office, beauty parlor, where
should I go for this particular training or position?
3. What person or persons can we sell our lot to? How much
should we ask for it?
4. Is there some way for me to lose weight besides dieting?
What causes my back to ache so much?
Sincerely yours, [...]

My dear Mrs. [...]:
In reply to yours of the 6th, we are making your appointment
for Thursday morning, the 20th, between 10:00 and 11:00
o'clock Eastern Standard time. If this is satisfactory,
please let us know the exact address at which you will be
during the hour set.
For a first reading, the questions are rather general; but we
will try to get the physical questions first and as many of
the others as possible.
We certainly hope that we may be of a real service to you.
Sincerely, ASS'N FOR RESEARCH & ENLIGHTENMENT, INC. EC:GD
4/16/33 Wife's letter:
Dear Sirs:
Please cancel my appointment for my reading for next
Thursday. Something has happened which would be
better to postpone it at this time.
Will try to have the reading in the next thirty days.
