TEXT

1. EC: We have the body here, [4876], and those conditions that disturb the physical forces of the body. As we find, while there has been given that the fluids in the joints may not be brought back, with the proper administrations, this may be MATERIALLY aided and EVENTUALLY near the normal reactions in same.
2. True, there are at present IMMOVABLE forces as related to the cap and the cushions, or the fluids about same. Would these be massaged thoroughly night and morning with pure apple vinegar and a saturated solution of salt in same, until there may be felt even an irritation about same, this will ENLIVEN the tissue.
3. Then take, twice each week, one-quarter grain of animated ash, following same - in thirty to forty minutes - with the ultra-violet ray, for one and a half minutes, thirty-eight inches from the body, over the LUMBAR and lower solar plexus area, on the spine, and one and a half minutes on the back portion of the knee, or knee joint.
4. As for the diet for the body, this should not be of any vegetables that grow UNDER the ground - but rather those of the leafy, with not TOO much meats, and not TOO much of those things that make for acid in the system; not too much sweets, but a wholesome, well-balanced diet. Ready for questions.
5. (Q) What would be suggested to relieve pain and swelling?
   (A) It's been suggested! That of the saturated solution of salt - rough salt, see? heavy salt; not BATH salt, but heavy salt - as MEAT salt, or coarse salt - NOT bath salt. This with PURE apple vinegar. Twice each day massage it around the area that causes distress. The first two or three may make for apparent irritation. Then this will subside. Do that. We will find better use of the body. We would take the ash on Tuesdays and Fridays, following each treatment - after thirty minutes - with the ultra-violet ray. Do not take the ash save in water, or loose. Do not take it in the capsule (that is usually the carrier), but take it dry and wash down with water. This will RELEASE oxygen in the system, and will be DIRECTED TO the AREA by the use of the ultra-violet ray.
6. Do that. We are through for the present.

BACKGROUND

1. 2/04/32 Questions submitted by Mr. [437]:
   QUESTIONS
Is there a possibility of securing 100% mobilization in the knee? Is there a possibility of securing 50% mobilization in the knee? Is it worth while going to see Dr. Michael Hoke, orthopedic surgeon at Atlanta, Georgia? He is considered quite an authority. Intended going down next week. Is it worth while seeking further medical attention? If Mr. Cayce can, will he recommend some kind of treatment to relieve pain and swelling? Can he state any time that he thinks this condition might improve? Is an operation absolutely necessary? Can this be cured without an operation? Can successful treatment be secured, and one still go to work? Would there be more possibility of securing better medical attention elsewhere than in New York?
CAN THE CONDITION BE ABSOLUTELY CURED - HOW AND WHEN?
