3/04/37 EC's letter to [
370]:
Dear Mr. [
370]:-
Happy to have yours of the 28th, and to know about your
conversation with some that have known of the work years ago.
Yes, remember Miss Bealle [
4958] very well. Of course, every
one knows of Battle Bealle and his work on the Bhm News,
thought a great deal of him, think he was one of the best
editorial writers I ever knew and will be very glad to hear
again from Miss Estelle, should she write, have a great many
letters from Mr. Bealle, as well as many clippings that he
wrote one time or another in the News.
A Mr. Dickson, was once a member of a Court Reporters group
who wrote many of the readings while I was in Bhm, at one
time or another. May be of same family, don't know, any
way am glad you have had the opportunity to talk with others
relative to the work, it brings back many memories those
names. You possibly know that I spent about six months there
at the Tutwiler hotel, giving from two to three readings
every day.
We have some of the booklets, they have been called "Cayce"
booklets just off press, and will a bit later have another
the Assn. Booklet. Will send you as many of these as you
wish, or that you can use to good purpose. "There is a
river" is written beautifully, and the author is supposed to
have the complete volume ready by or before Summer. Thanks
for the contribution, am anxious to know what Mrs. [
1344]
thinks of her reading. We have had another case here in
Norfolk very similar to your own, the Dr's were about ready
to put the man on the shelf, as he is a Gov. man but he has
gotten well. His Blood pressure is normal again, and he is
to be sure back on the job with all the vim and vitality of
a new man. Hope you are keeping on the improve, and thanks
many many times Mr. [
370] for your letters, they do me lots
of good. Thanks too for joining in with the Assn. plans, and
for all the nice things you say about all here with the work.
We may be the means, the channel, but it is either God's
work, or it is nothing at all.
Write every chance, and when you feel like it. With best to
you and yours, Sincerely, EC
