This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 322 Grafton Avenue, Dayton, Ohio, this 9th day of August, 1924, in accordance with request made by Mr. [4151].

1. EC: Now, we find there are some very serious conditions with this body, and they have to do with conditions that have existed in the body from times back. There have been many conditions accorded the system. Some have been for the effects as produced in the system. Others have been for portions and for the functioning of portions of the body that affect the conditions.
2. Now these are conditions as we find them in this body, Mrs. [4998], we are speaking of. First:

IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find, while not near the normal condition, is one of the conditions as exhibited or manifested there that gives the criterion of conditions existing in other portions of the body, for there is that bacilli carried in the blood that shows or gives an insight into existing conditions in other portions of the system. Hence the blood supply is over-abundant in some of its properties and lacking very much in others. The resistive force in the blood supply and stored energy to restore the conditions to normal, as are being used by the physical forces of the body in its action of building and rebuilding, and used forces is lacking. Hence the weakened condition that comes from the loss of this vital force by the blood the body loses at times through the existing conditions. Coagulation is still being made, but not near in the normal show. Hence the relapses at times when the broken tissue occurs in those malignant portions of the body.
4. To overcome much of this condition would be to use this blood in the body from affected portions and make of this that serum necessary to inject in the body to overcome the ravages of these conditions. Take from veins and make that necessary in the concurring of conditions, or producing by heat those cells necessary, to become destructive forces to the blood supply, and re-inject in the system. Necessary that this be done three times. Also would be well if there were infusions to the blood supply of this body from other sources of blood, same age or younger, that we would have the resistive forces necessary in the body to meet these needs.
5. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, we find these conditions as are exhibited there are the breaking down of centers by the conditions existing over other portions of the body, and not involved direct, but rather an effect of the conditions existing in portions where the malignant forces are shown than of the seat or cause of conditions.
6. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF ORGANS THEMSELVES, we find there are many of these involved in conditions, and these are shown or manifested by their action with these conditions as exist.
7. Then, to meet the needs of conditions at the present time, be well first that the properties as would be found in this be given the body internally. This would comprise one dose.

   Eucalyptol, or Oil of of Eucalyptus.........1 minim,
Rectified Oil, or Spirits of Turp...........2 minims,
Heroin..................................1/120 grain,
Canadian Balsam.............................2 minims.

   These best be given in capsules. Drops or liquids placed in these and given internally, one each day. Also applying at the same time the vibrations of the violet ray over the whole system, relaxing the body at the same time; that is, adjust before the violet ray is given, by the osteopathic forces; for the muscle, the tissue, needs the relaxing that when culture of blood is injected in the body, as should be, we will have the corresponding reaction, both through medicinal properties and through the muscular tissue that is to absorb the conditions and to give the reaction necessary to meet the needs of this body, Mrs. [4998]. Give at least five of the capsules. Give at least sufficient of the culture - three. Give at least the vibrations from the massage and from the violet ray every day, until the reaction and retraction shows through the body.
