1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions that you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions and suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes - as we find, we would not change those administrations being made for the body.
3. If there is trouble in obtaining the properties desired, the appeal to or through Madame Chiang Kai-Chek will bring those things necessary for the body.
4. These will bring the greater aid of any that may be applied for this body.

BACKGROUND

1. 10/05/43 Letter from [5003]'s daughter: "...Years ago the medical profession said there was nothing they could do for her. Since that time she has been under the care of a Chinese herbist. She improved greatly, but since the war started the Chinese have received no herbs from China and their stock is no longer complete. The result is that mother suffers a great deal..."
