In giving the urges which arise independently (for these
are as a composite, as it were, of the entity's activity
in the earth, as well as in the realms of other dimensional
consciousness), these we give as astrological aspects:
Mercury, Venus and Venus with Mars, with Uranus, with Saturn.
Hence the high mental abilities and thinking qualities of the
entity, and it, in its thinking, usually remains in the same
thought it has reached its own self, and others at times
call the entity "hard-headed" or as the entity should find
because others are "thick-skinned" or sarcastic in their
relationship, it doesn't always mean that they know, or
intend to hurt; yet the sensitiveness of the entity, and
its ability to attract or to push away others are subject to
being ruffled with such conditions, and it has happened and
does happen often and plenty!
In Venus we find the abilities to write; we find beauty;
loveliness; the ability of making itself lovely; because very
rarely would you ever find this lady when she doesn't look
well-dressed, even with a Mother Hubbard on!
We find in Uranus the extremes in which the entity has been,
or may be put at times. But finding self in its spiritual
purposes, spiritual ideals, will make a great deal
more tolerance to those who are sarcastic. And as
for sarcasm, the entity seldom lets itself go.
As to the activities in the earth, these as indicated indeed
are quite varied, yet these are presented as a pattern.
While all are not given, these may be a pattern for the
entity, and may be applied or used in the ways and manner
in which the entity may find peace and harmony, as from the
spiritual source. Remember, the mind and the body and the
soul must coordinate as one, for harmony. These necessitate,
then, that ideals be attained or set, and that there be the
attempt to attain such ideals; not that these will ever be
reached, but an ideal must be set towards which it is able to
keep working or to answer whatever questionable experiences
may arise in the experience of the entity.
Before this we find the entity was in the land of the present
nativity in Salem during those periods when there was the
questioning regarding spiritual communications, following
those periods when there had been extremes as to punishment
made to others.
The entity felt very strongly and kept its own council, and,
as in the present, has its own opinions respecting same.
And most can be used by the entity, if and when it becomes
necessary.
The more there is the cultivation of the spiritual aspects of
the entity, the more may be the abilities to apply in self.
The name then was Florence Avery.
Before that the entity was in the land now known as the
Roman, following those periods of presentation or teaching of
the Nazarene, from those of other lands. And as groups were
made, the entity sought knowledge. Yea, the entity was a
keeper of records for those groups, and hence finds within
itself latent and manifested the abilities to keep quiet when
necessary and to talk when necessary. These are judgments to
be meted, for silence is oft golden, and a boastfulness may
bring its own house tumbling on itself.
In that experience the entity gained much in its ministry in
the household of faith, for friendship begets friendship, and
love begets love, and if these are made manifest, these are
of the spiritual forces of the entity.
The name then was Ava. Keep in self much of that which
was gained through that experience with the daughters of
Cornelius of that period.
Before that the entity was in the Persian and Arabian lands.
These experiences from that period, with associates, bring
resentments, and also the activity in which Persian colors
and the activity having to do with the Far East are of
interest to the entity.
The entity was among those in the "city in the hills and
plains", aiding in the interpreting for others of the
activity that had to do with the spiritual, the mental
and social life.
As the records were kept, these bring to the entity's
experience the abilities to write, to compose, to wind
men around her own purposes. Use it, don't abuse it, and
you will have most anything you wish materially in this
experience.
Then the entity was known first as Margi. When active in the
"city in the hills" it was known as Marjorah.
Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land when there
were those activities in the Temple of Sacrifice and the
Temple Beautiful. The entity aided in selecting individuals,
both male and female, by the choices in which the Priest had
set the manner in which the lots were to be drawn for those
who entered into this phase of service.
Thus we find the ability of the entity to judge individuals,
to know character, to discern the difference between
personality and individuality. Use this aright.
As to the abilities that may be attained, or used: As
indicated, first analyze self, and know thy ideals.
Then set about to apply them for the betterment of all.
In those channels of writing may the entity succeed the
better.

application for membership and the request for a Life
Reading. Our first open period is very far off...the
morning of May 4..."

a very long time off, but if I can't be fitted in sooner,
reserve that date for me... Would you kindly give me some
idea as to the type of question that should be asked in a
reading of this type? Must the questions be concerned only
with the individual who is having the reading? Would it be
possible to ask about anyone who has gone on to the other
life? Thank you..."
8/20/43 EC's reply: "...We are sending you the Life
Reading data and I think you will understand what type
questions might be answered and how to ask them, by
reading this over..."

the agenda for a Life Reading on the morning of May 4. Mr.
Cayce wrote me some time ago suggesting that I send in any
questions I might have shortly prior to that time. I should
like to submit the following questions: (1) Have you any
message for me, or other members of the family from my
daughter who departed this life in February 1942, very
suddenly? (2) Am I fulfilling the mission for which I
was put here on earth? (3) Am I using my abilities and
possibilities to the fullest extent? (4) Is there another
field other than the one I operate in, in which I would be
