reading. At first he thought it hadn't much for him, but as
he read and reread it, he came to think it really has much
for him, and so it has. I think it is a very wonderful
reading. He was so pleased to know that he was in the work
best suited to him."

12/04/47 Letter: "Find enclosed my check as payment for
1 year membership in the Association... Please put me in
good standing again. One of the Association members who
lives in Boston said that members receive binders for the
Bulletins and Diary Letters. If I am entitled to binder,
please send them. If there is a charge, send them anyway,
and tell me how much I owe for them. Attended the buffet
supper and general 'get-to-gether' at Dr. W. A. K.'s in Mass.
on November 22. There were 19 present, and much enthusiasm
was demonstrated. There is to be another meeting this coming
Saturday in Boston, at one of the member's home. The other
enclosed check is for the Nov. donation to be used by the
A.R.E. from my family. Best regards to the 'gang' at
Headquarters and in Norfolk."
