(Q) I am ofttimes bothered in studying different subjects by
a perplexingly slow grasp of the subject matter, although I
consider myself fairly intelligent. Is there an explanation
and remedy for it?
(A) This is produced by the slowness of reflexes from the
imaginative or vegetative system and the sensory system. As
we find, these corrections should be made as indicated.
Periodically, after the first series, rest a week, then have
the second series; this only about six or eight or ten; while
the first series should run to at least sixteen. After the
rest period, the third series, not more than one every other
week, for at least six or eight or ten.
The appliance should be used daily. Use that period for
meditation, no matter if it is taken when the body is ready
to retire. Have at the beginning the period at least of
meditation, and if the body does go off to sleep during the
period, have someone to remove the plates but there will be
periods of exciting experience in the spiritual and mental
self.
(Q) What is cause of occasional nightmares, which oppress me
considerably and usually end in inarticulate outcries?
(A) These, as have been indicated, are the sympathetics and
the sensory system, that, as it were, cross current one
another and these are the visions, or the dream experiences
becoming, under such, very much exaggerated to size of
unusual happenings or as to all such experiences.
(Q) What is the reason for blood in stool occasionally?
(A) The lack of coordination makes a strain upon centers
where the lymph and the impulses of activity do not
coordinate. Do as has been given, we will bring bettered
conditions for this body.

[We were unable to get your life reading on June 1st.
Another appointment is being made for Nov. 24th, 10:30 to
11:30 A.M., EWT. It will no doubt be better for you to
submit questions of vocational, mental and spiritual nature,
to have asked in type of reading.]
BACKGROUND
Born in Germany
3/21/04; married; no children.
8/02/43 Wife [
5198]'s letter: "...My husband [
5199] also
would like to have a Physical and Life Reading, and I would
be grateful if you would tell us how to go about it."
8/27/43 Letter: "I read about your abilities in a recent
issue of 'Coronet', and wonder if you can give me a reading
without the necessity of my personal presence. The following
are a few of the questions you might be able to answer for
me: (1) What, if anything, can we do to assure that we will
have children (my wife and I)? (2) In what way can I be of
most service to our country at present time...? (3) If I
survive this war, what will my field of endeavor be? (4) My
wife has several minor ailments, chiefly of a nervous nature,
what can be done about them?..."
5/23/44 Questions submitted in addition to those at end of
5199-1: "I do not quite know whether my first question is
proper within the scope of a Physical Rdg.; however, it is of
the greatest interest and concern to me, and if you consider
it in order, I wish it to be [See 5199-1, Par. 11-A]. (2) I
am very often troubled by insomnia, even though I feel
perfectly tired and ready for sleep. What is the reason?
(3) I frequently have a stiffness, sometimes an actually
hardened area, in the right back of my neck; this often
develops a headache, creeping over the right side of my head
and ending right behind the right eye. What causes it?
(4) What is the reason for occasional blood in my stool?"
REPORTS
6/09/44 Wife's letter: "Both my husband's and my own reading
have been received, and I am sure they will prove very
helpful to us... For my husband there was given the advice
to use at home the radio-active appliance. I am writing to
inquire whether I can get any further information on this as
to just what it is and where it can be obtained. Dr. George
N. Coulter, D.O. the osteopath here whom you recommended,
could not help on this point..."
6/13/44 EC's letter: "...You can order these from Mr.
Marsden Godfrey...they are built for each individual on
request..."
6/26/44 Wife's letter: "...I have sent the order for a
radio-active appliance to Mr. Godfrey immediately, and hope
that we shall get this soon. In the Physical Rdg. for my
husband, osteopathic treatments were recommended and you were
kind enough to suggest the name of Dr. George N. Coulter,
D.O. It now develops that his office hours are such that my
husband will not be able to go to him. We do happen to know,
however, a very good chiropractor, who is most conveniently
located, and I am writing to inquire whether it would be all
right to have the treatments given by this chiropractor. We
shall be grateful for your advice. As far as our own lay
judgments of the readings are concerned, I would like to say
that they seem to describe most accurately the physical
conditions of both my husband and myself. Later, after the
treatments and prescriptions have been carried out, I shall
take the liberty of sending you a report as to just what
happened..."
1/13/50 Notation by IMG: "Mr. [
5199] and his wife [
5198]
donated to E.C.F. work of preparing the EC readings for
microfilming."
1/22/52 Questionnaire sent. No reply.
4/02/52 Notation by IMG: No record of verbal or written
contact on this case since
1/13/50.
