This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 26th day of July, 1944, in accordance with request made by the grandmother - Mrs. [3006], Living Sponsor of the Ass'n for Research and Enlightenment, Inc., recommended by [2946].

Present: Edgar Cayce; Gertrude Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Jeanette Fitch, Stenos. Born September 24, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois.

TEXT

1. GC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions, which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [5352].
3. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them here, we find that the family has the responsibility of an unusual entity.
4. Then, rather would there, through the formative years, be given those warnings to those responsible for the experiences of the entity in the earth's plane.
5. For this entity was the first justice of the Supreme Court, and thus this entity, of all entities in the present, should be trained in all manners for a jurist.
6. There should be, especially through the period of the next three years, warnings respecting high temperatures and the warnings respecting the effects of such high temperatures upon the extremities of the body.
7. Here the entity should have direction in which there is never a falsehood by intimation, or by word given to this entity. For it is too well known, if there will be those studies of a biography of Marshall, for these to be misinterpreted in tendencies as may be a part of the entity's experience.
8. Then kindness, gentleness, yet positiveness, should be the trainings for the entity through the formative years.
9. The warnings are given regarding physical condition, the warnings regarding physical exercise and mental clearness and cleanness of mind, regarding those things which deal with the relationships between individuals.
10. Do have those directions, those who would be in charge, such that not by intimation, nor by word, nor by act, nor by look, will be a falsehood ever manifested in the experience with the entity until it has reached at least its tenth year.
11. If this can be done, as it opens into school activities which may, if there is set in those formative periods the spiritual counsel as to the sources of help, strength, justice, mercy, patience, brotherly love, kindness, gentleness, if these are done, then, when the body is ten we would give those instructions for the necessary developments through the periods of the teen-age and the early manhood for the bringing forth of that expression needed. For, remember, there were other experiences, but Marshall is given as the pattern for that which may be studied and lessons taken from same as to the problems and the hobbies of the entity, so that little hates are not created in the experience of the entity.
