There has been a real strain in the nerves and muscular
forces of the body across the brachial center; that is, all
of those segments, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th segments, were
put in a stress and there are lesions formed there. This has
been some time back. It has caused, by the deflection of the
nerve flow, a condition with the heart's activity which has
caused a great deal of anxiety at times with this stress and
pressure, and also it has slowed the activity of the liver
and its relationship to the kidneys.
Thus we have at times considerable uric acid in the
circulation. This has gradually tended to leave pressures
throughout the nerve system as to cause rheumatic reactions
when cold is contracted or when there are sudden drafts or
overexercise or poor digestion. For we have a tendency for
slow eliminations also.
We would find that first a change of climate, such as to
Lakeland, Florida would be well for the body and being under
such direction there as of the neuropath, Dr. Snyder [E. L.
Kinsinger?], would be well for this body.
These treatments should include, then, first a little series
of two, three or four of colonic irrigations to purify the
whole of the alimentary canal. We would have the neuropathic
treatments especially following the nerves and making some
adjustments in the areas of the brachial center and the 3rd
cervical and the 3rd, 4th and 5th cervical. All of these
need some pressure removed.
Then have gentle outdoor exercise - riding, walking, not
too much, but all of these will gradually bring help and in
eighteen months we should be relieved of these disturbances.
Ready for questions.
(Q) How long has this condition persisted?
(A) Since the disturbances as have been indicated.
(Q) Should I exercise as much as possible without straining?
(A) Just read what has been indicated, not a great deal, but
riding and walking, but keep in the open, not when it causes
strain. Do the correcting first and then let the exercises
gradually be builded, see?
(Q) Are the electric treatments beneficial?
(A) The electric treatments are very good and yet are rather
dangerous with the pressure upon the thrombose, but if there
will be the corrections, see, then the electrical treatments
given a little bit later; that is, say in January, we should
find them most beneficial.
(Q) Is there any danger of sudden death from this ailment?
(A) Is there any danger of anything? To be sure there is
danger. But precautions should be taken, for if the body
should become overexcited or strained, it would almost
cause a permanent injury. But do as has been indicated.
We are through with this reading.

these directions - Please let us have the
name and address of the one you choose.)

BACKGROUND
12/02/43 Letter: "I have had for the last 18 mos. what the
doctors have diagnosed as rheumatic heart disease - they have
been unable to help me, except one who gave me some help with
electric treatments. My trouble is mostly in my heart. I
pain constantly, also suffer from pains in the legs. I have
so much nervous tension, my food will hardly digest. I have
some sort of attacks. Have not been able to work for almost
2 years." 1. What was the cause of this condition and how
long has it persisted? 2. Should I exercise as much as
possible without straining? 3. What causes so much nervous
tension? 4. Can the condition be cured? or helped to any
extent? 5. How can attacks be prevented? 6. Would the
climate of southern Florida benefit condition? 7. Are
electric treatments beneficial? 8. What is diagnosis of
condition? 9. Is the ill health I have been experiencing the
result of wrongful living? 10. What treatments are
suggested? 11. Is thee any danger of sudden death from this
ailment? 12. Must I be in the right frame of mind before
receiving any help from God; that is, spiritually? 13. Is my
present physical condition interfering with my spiritual
mind?
REPORTS
7/24/44 GD's letter to [
5375]: If you do not know of a Dr.
Snyder in Lakeland, Fla., we'd suggest that you send a copy
of your reading to Mr. Thomas Sugrue, 11 Glendale St.,
Clearwater Beach, Fla., asking that he give you detailed
information regarding the type of treatment recommended. Mr.
Sugrue has been living near Lakeland for some time and is
familiar with the various manners of treatment available in
the section.
9/13/44 [
5375]'s letter: "I find that it is impossible for
me to go to Florida at present, as the reading advised, as
much as I would like to. But I am going to a Naprapath for
treatments, next week, as reading advised. I have been
taking treatments similar to those advised. But I am
changing to the Naprapath next week. Will send you his name
and results of treatments; that is, taking it for granted
that he will give me treatments as reading specified. I have
hopes for much improvement. I might add frankly that I was
just a little disappointed in two things, but not exceedingly
so. The fact that the reading did not advocate any spiritual
help (but of course I know this is between God and I). Also
the reading did not seem to touch on point where physical
weakness is centered upon (No offence meant). Of course I
realize all is not known to me, and there is strong
indication of injured nervous system - as reading advised.
(I am very interested in this work.)"
4/26/45 [
5375]'s letter: "Since the very unfortunate passing
of Mr. Cayce, I have lost contact with the Ass'n. I had one
reading from Mr. Cayce. I would like to know if this work is
being carried on as usual, as I am still very interested."
