IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, this we find in many centers shows the
strain under which the body labors mentally and the physical
forces as are produced in the body from this condition,
affecting then principally those centers in 10th, 11th
dorsal, in 2nd, 3rd lumbar, in 1st, 2nd, 3rd dorsal. The
effect then as these produce in the system are as these: In
the upper dorsal and lower cervical, this gives distresses at
times through deadened or tingling sensations, stiffness in
the brachial plexus region, arms, hands, shoulders, the low
hepatic circulation produced reflexly from these. In the
solar plexus this gives the condition in digestive system.
Lack of appetite, lack of assimilations, lack of digestion
being in normal conditions. In the lower dorsal and lumbar,
this produces the inaction of the kidneys and the tendency
for the system to become dulled from this inaction.
IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, brain forces
very good, as given.
In the functioning proper of organs, these we find are not
organically affected, yet in their functioning, much in the
nerve system, much in the condition in the blood stream as
is produced, gives distresses to these various portions as
have been given.
Then, to bring the normal forces for the body would be to
have that specific outline of activity of the physical forces
in some definite exercise for the body, taking in the system
large quantities of water and working, as it were, this
through the system, that we may have the cleansing of the
whole intestinal tract, flooding, as it were, the kidneys
and bladder in their action. Hence remove the drosses from
the system through every form of elimination through natural
means. Not by purging or by mechanical forces, save as in
specific exercise and water.
In the mental forces, these we find depressing to the system
and should be eliminated through the mental activity of the
body, for with the mental balance as the body naturally
holds, the body should not incapacitate itself mentally or
physically by submerging the physical or mental conditions,
for that which is IS, and the mental through the mind may
make thought action. Work then with that in hand, giving the
account to self and Maker. Do that.
(Q) What treatment should the body follow for the benefit
of the eyes?
(A) These have been outlined for the body. Those exercises
and those vibrations. Those should be kept in the body as
has been outlined, not taken wholly, you see. [See
5453-1
and 5453-2.]
(Q) What are the teeth that need attention?
(A) There are several that need attention. This is not the
cause or that producing the condition in the system. The
lower molars, the upper central teeth, see?
(Q) What causes the excessive secretions in the throat,
especially in the mornings?
(A) Depression in 1st and 2nd cervical, producing the over
action of the secretions to this portion of the body. System
attempting to adjust itself to improper eliminations.
(Q) What specific exercises should the body take to remove
all physical conditions?
(A) Exercises of mornings that give the flow of blood to
upper portion of body. Of evenings those that give the flow
of blood away from the head. Sitting up exercises, outdoor
exercises, or games of any character, specific, and following
any needing the whole exercises for the physical condition
in the body, that we may work the water, as it were, through
the system, taking quantities of water in the system at all
times.
(Q) Should the body eat more meat?
(A) The quantity does not have so much effect on the system,
depending upon how same is assimilated.
(Q) What should the body weigh in the normal condition?
(A) Hundred and thirty-six.
(Q) Does the body smoke excessively? Should it be
discontinued?
(A) Not necessarily. Any to excess of course brings extra
secretions to throat and lungs, and especially when the
system through mental forces or improper circulation is in a
depleted condition. Some is good for the system, good for
the nerves. Not to excess at any time.
(Q) Does the body get a sufficient amount of sleep?
(A) Not of sleep it has been recently getting, has not been
sufficient. Plenty of exercise, plenty of water working
through the body, we will find different.
(Q) What treatment should be given for the dandruff?
(A) Listerine.
(Q) Should this be rubbed into the scalp?
(A) Rubbed into the scalp.
(Q) How often should this be applied?
(A) About twice a week.
We are through.
BACKGROUND
GD's note: Mr. [
5453] had been out of a job for several
months and had been living with his wife and small son in
the home of her parents. They had put him out, saying he
could not see his wife and son until he could provide for
them. This accounts for the mental worries mentioned in
the reading. He was living at the home of this parents now,
and could only see his wife and child when they met him
downtown somewhere.
