7/14/31 Letter from E. P. Brenner, Chiropractor [which may or
may not refer to case [
5464], since no name was mentioned]:
"...Edgar, I am taking care of a young man 31 years old, that
I would say has Parkinson's Disease. Up to date I have given
him 28 adjustments. He has shown a slight improvement during
this time. The medical doctors in this surrounding country
have given him up and said there was nothing to be done for
him, but as I have already stated he has shown some
improvement under adjustments, and if there is any way for me
to raise $20.00 I am going to have a reading for him, as he
is worthy of it. He has always been a hard working boy,
attended church and tried to live a life as near right as the
average young man. Oh, yes, he is married.
"The ladies of the Baptist Church in a little town by the
name of ..., N.C. are paying his board here in ..., N.C., so
that he can take adjustments every day from me. I am giving
my services free, but I am so sure if this young man could
have a reading so I would know just what to do, it would only
be a short time and this man would be well. Now, as I stated
before, if it is at all possible for me to raise $20.00 I am
going to get one for him. I am writing these ladies about
it. Will let you know just as soon as I hear from them.
"God bless and keep you is my prayer for this wonderful work
he is sending through you..."
10/30/31 Wire from Dr. Brenner: "...[

Roanoke Rapids Hospital, Roanoke Rapids, N.C. Please give
this physical reading at once. Send air mail to me..."
