This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 17th day of September, 1930, in accordance with request made by his mother, Mrs. [5497].

TEXT

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [5498]. We find the physical conditions, the coordinative forces of the body general, still on the improve. There should be kept very much of the same GENERAL outline for the treatments for the corrective forces, both as to activities of the body and as to the applications for corrective forces in the PHYSICAL body. Ready for questions.
2. (Q) Should oil rub be given as stated, with osteopathic treatment, or separately?
   (A) It should be given, best, FOLLOWING the osteopathic treatments - for, as we may see, with the stimulation as is given to the system, with the general treatment over the cerebro-spinal system, the applications of the oil rubs would be more effective - for they would feed IN, as it were, to the system from the exterior application.
3. (Q) How often should the clamp about the head be given with battery treatment?
   (A) Every second treatment.
4. (Q) Are battery treatments given correctly?
   (A) These are very good, and - as seen - is making that coordinative force through the system. Relaxes the body thoroughly, too, so the body should rest at least for some minutes after such treatments. Not stir too actively after or following same.
5. (Q) Why does body not walk properly and what should be done to remedy same?
   (A) This will be remedied most by those corrective forces for the coordinating through the locomotory centers. This comes from the tendency of too quick an activity, or a drawing of the muscular forces as coordinate IN the locomotions through those of the lumbar and coccyx plexus, and ESPECIALLY those in the sacrals, of the 1st and 2nd centers, see?
6. (Q) Is it advisable to give glandular extract for the body?
   (A) Of a COMBINATION, yes.
7. (Q) Is the diet correct?
   (A) Diet is very good. Just don't ever overload system too much.
8. (Q) Should body receive any special training in school this fall?
   (A) The general training as for concentration, these are the best in this PARTICULAR time - and especially in that of the PHYSICAL forces as related to the body and its changes IN the physical body.

1. GD's note: Mrs. [5497] kept her son in Virginia Beach School for Boys for at least the next school year, following the close of the Cayce Hospital, and followed the treatments as outlined in the readings. There was a tremendous improvement in his physical and mental condition, according to the mother's report the last time I saw her.
