4/21/29 [
5505]'s letter: "...I received the reading and your
kind information of the 15th and thank you ever so much for
both. The reading is very interesting and I will endeavor to
follow the suggestions given in it as closely as possible,
hoping that my health will be much improved by them.
"However, I cannot deny that I felt somewhat disappointed
when I found out that the reading did not describe the
present condition of my left eye which I got almost entirely
blind in all of a sudden some years ago, nor did it mention
whether or not it is possible to restore the sight of it. To
get particular information about this was what I had hoped
for and the principal reason for my asking for a reading,
because our eyesight is what we need most. But there was
even an evasive answer when the direct question was put about
the left eye, because there is no pain in it.
"I would have been more grateful for an exact description of
the condition with the explanation that there cannot be done
anything, but - perhaps, that the condition of the left eye
would never interfere with the sight of the right eye.
"I hope you will not be angry about my being frank enough to
write this, because you easily will understand what this
means to me... [He reported here on his wife, [
5506]'s
condition.] I am going to take the medicine as prescribed in
the reading and get the double X Radium Appliance and use it
and write you later on how I am getting along.
"Meanwhile, thanking you very much again..."
4/29/29 EC's letter to [
5505]: "...Replying to yours of the
21st, I am of the opinion that the information given in these
readings is such that, if the individual will apply that
suggested to do, the knowledge necessary for the
understanding will come with the application of those things
given. This, too, comes for conditions that are possibly the
outcome of other things that are not mentioned in the
readings. I am sure, as you say in your letter, that these
questions were to be asked specifically, but in this case the
information came without there being other than a general
mention of the condition with the eyes. From past
experience, I believe the general physical health has been a
cause of the condition with the eyes, and with the correcting
of THAT you will find these will be on the improve; and as
you go along with the application of these things given, we
will be more than glad to check up on it and find out just
[what] effect is having with these conditions which worry you
so much. I believe the condition with the eyes is the result
of other disturbances, and not the other conditions results
of the disturbance with the eyes..."
