(Q) Is my husband returning home? If so, when and how?
(A) These conditions will depend upon the movement and the
activity of many with whom the body has been associated, is
to be associated with. As to these conditions, as to whether
he does or does not, that should not alter the attitude, nor
the actions, nor the activity of the body-self; for, would
the body consider only self and self's relation, and self's
activities, how great a CHANGE would same make as respecting
the movements or the relations of the companion? Would the
change, or the return, under altered conditions or
circumstances, alter the ideals within self? To thine own
self, then, be true - irrespective of the movements, the
activities, or the IDEAS, of others. Then it must ensue,
faults will not lie at thine OWN door. Only thine own self
may one be sincere with. Then the sincerity to another must
follow, as the night does the day. False actions, false
activities, do not bring truth; do not make for any good
thing that may come FROM same. Only in truth, only in
sincerity, may truth - or that upon which growth, or
development for the purpose for which one enters into this
life, or any phase of life - will this BRING a development
for ANYONE.
In these relations, then, keep thine heart in that attitude
as one would be done by; do that to the other, IRRESPECTING
of circumstance, conditions, surroundings, environs, or
material or carnal results. Keep thine SELF true.
(Q) Is he returning alone?
(A) What does it matter, if to thine own self thou art true?
He will not be alone, however!
(Q) What will his attitude be when he returns?
(A) In answer to that as is desired in self; for desire is
of a threefold nature, and that builded in self finds its
response in another, and as there is the SINCERE desire to
build in the mental being of any in which such relationships
have existed, as in this condition, that will be builded -
for life, in all its phases, is of the threefold nature.
SPIRIT is willing; MIND is the builder; the RESULT is that
MANIFESTED in the material conditions as surround a body.
That attitude, then, will be that as has been builded, as has
been desired in self as related to another.
(Q) What should my attitude be when he returns?
(A) That as has been given. In self be true, irrespective
of the attitude or the actions of another. Judge as ye WOULD
be judged. Do as you WOULD be done by, to, for, of. In THIS
there is not only safety in self, but development in mind and
soul.
(Q) Shall I procure a divorce?
(A) If so desired.
(Q) Is my husband desirous of a divorce?
(A) Not at present.
(Q) Will I have difficulty in procuring custody of children?
(A) Depends upon the actions under which and by which, and
for which same is claimed.
(Q) What has my husband done with all his money?
(A) We haven't any money in this! We have peoples, and
minds, and things - and relations.
(Q) Will I be financially taken care of by him?
(A) If demanded.
(Q) To what extent?
(A) To be taken care of!
(Q) Will any disaster or misfortune befall me before
procuring divorce?
(A) Not as is seen at present, though many changes may come,
as the self is building in self many variable and varied
conditions, contacts. This will depend most upon self than
from others.
(Q) Should I remarry?
(A) If so desire.
(Q) Should I marry Henry?
(A) Don't see you marrying Henry!
(Q) Will my future be better mentally and financially after
divorce?
(A) Unless changes are builded in purpose of self; that
builded must stand - "As the tree falls, so does it lie; as
the branch is trained, so does the tree or vine stand". As
the mental guides, so does the body become builded; for the
Spirit moves in those ways in which it is directed.
Cleanse the mind in such a manner as to be able to meet every
word, every act, when it is met on the corner on the morrow.
We are through.
