IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, OR SYSTEMS, here we find the greater
cause of disturbance, and that from which most of the
disorders apparent come; yet the effect and the causes are
not all OF the nervous system; rather they be the positions
that show or indicate the causes of disturbances. There are,
however, in the lower dorsal and lumbar region, specific
conditions existent in the form of lateral lesions. These
have prevented, by their preventing the full impulse from the
nerve plexus to SUPPLY the activity necessary for peristalsis
throughout the intestinal tract. Hence the condition as is
termed in the beginning, as of constipation. This, then, a
cause - or a seat of a trouble. While the reflexes as are
FROM this to the kidneys, weakened by the overtaxation in
system attempting to throw off the poisons, we have those
reflexes manifesting themselves in that of the tendency
towards insomnia, or the inability to rest easy; also that
condition in which the nerve system throughout presents that
of a nerve reaction, and being in that position wherein the
pressure affects both sympathetic and cerebro-spinal, gives
this character of a reflex.
IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES:
Brain forces are VERY good.
Organs of the sensory system show rather the effect of the
poisons as are thrown back into the system often. Hence the
accentuations in the organs of the sensory system, either by
distortions, or the SUBNORMAL activity.
In the bronchials, throat and lungs - these are very good at
present. There has existed indications of the conditions
produced BY the toxemia, and the effects are seen in the
lungs themselves - though not an organic condition at
present.
Heart's action normal.
The digestive system as related to the gastric JUICES of
same, natural with one suffering from the tendency of
constipation - especially as produced by improper movement of
the system itself, and the reflexes to the vegetative nerve
system, and state of too much acid is most often the result.
Liver also shows the effect of the nervous condition, as well
as of the poisons, or accumulation of poisons, from the
effect in the system of toxemia.
The greater DISTRESS ORGANICALLY, being then that in the
effect produced in the kidney, and the PELVIC system finds
irritations from the acid.
In meeting, then, the needs, or in making corrections in the
present, that the system may be near to a normal system, we
would find that first would be the PROPER procedure to have
those CORRECTIONS made in the cerebro-spinal nervous system,
or the relief, or the removal of the pressure in the ganglia
along same.
We would take internally those of Milk of Magnesia, as would
be ALTERNATED occasionally with those of the Alophen in the
one pellet. This should NOT be taken too regularly, but
should be taken while CORRECTIONS are being made, that - with
the proper stimuli to the system, and the proper diet taken
as will CAUSE the reactions in the blood and in the
assimilating and eliminating system, we will have a normal
BALANCED system.
We would, then, do that. We will FIND that consistency and a
little persistency will be necessary to make the proper
corrections. If this is to be only HALF done, would be
better in the present condition not to do ANY of it! Ready
for questions.
(Q) What causes nervous temperament?
(A) It's just been given!
(Q) How can body be more calm and poised?
(A) Make the proper physical corrections!
(Q) Why is the thinking of any task always harder than the
performing of it for this body?
(A) That would have to do with the mental! We have the
physical here!
(Q) How can body keep from thinking about things when she
wakes up in the night?
(A) Have the body PHYSICALLY fit and it won't wake up!
(Q) What type of work would be best for this body
physically?
(A) Get the body physically fit first, and then it may be
judged!
(Q) If body has an opportunity to marry, should she do so?
(A) That should be with self! We are through for the
present.

REPORTS
GD's note: Cayce Hospital application was filled out terming
her condition as that of hyperacidity, for which she had not
previously been treated. However, there is no record of her
having spent any time in the Cayce Hospital.
