(Q) Does excess weight cause mental sluggishness? and how
can this be remedied?
(A) This is as has been explained, as to how the effect to
the glands of the system cause the mental sluggishness in the
activity to the pituitaries; and, as to the corrections,
these - there has been given also, that there must be
corrective measures in the cerebro-spinal system, where
pressure is produced, as well as changing the vibratory
forces and causing a reduction in the excess of flesh.
That is all the questions.
Do that. We are through for the present.

3/16/30 Grandmother [

after [
5550] arrived before we received her reading. She,
becoming impatient, we took her to Dr. Martin [W. B. Martin,
M.D.?] and started her in with Miss Friedlin [a
physiotherapist] for treatments and cabinet baths. We had
intended leaving [
5550] with you at Cayce Hospital while we
came west. She seems to be progressing very nicely and is
altogether happy in the home of Miss Friedlin who is a woman
of high Christian character..."
GD's note: There is no indication from the correspondence
that the osteopathy used as recommended.
