This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 28th day of October, 1929, in accordance with request made by self and those in charge.

TEXT

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [5555]. This we have had before. Now, we find there are changes in the physical forces of the body from that as we have had before. In the changes, there are those conditions that - taking advantage of same - may be turned to the betterment for the physical force of the body.
2. We would begin, then, with the gentle massage over the whole system - as has been given; following same out to the extremities, more in the form of the neuropathic as the application, with the deeper manipulations osteopathically at least twice each week.
3. We would begin, also, by giving that of Spirits Frumenti - of which the alcohol has been burned.
4. We would also give those of food values that will strengthen the body, but that must be ALL of the ALKALIN reaction in the system, for at least fifteen days. The burned Spirits Frumenti should be given as medicine, sweetened a little with beet sugar - two teaspoonsful may be given every three hours, until there is a better stimulation through the system. Ready for questions.
5. (Q) What is the condition of the uterus?
   (A) In a state of plethora produced by the pressure in the false pelvis and that condition existent from the activities produced in times back from exterior operations.
6. (Q) What causes menorrhagia and dysmenorrhea at time of menstrual period?
   (A) This relaxed condition as exists in this portion of system. There will be seen, MUCH of this exists from - or has caused that lesion in the upper lumbar and the sacral.
7. (Q) Will functioning of body in time become normal?
   (A) Become NEAR normal, by the close attention of those conditions as are to be brought about. As has been seen and given, the central system functions so MUCH faster than that of the CAPILLARY, that this causes ALL of the INTERNAL reactions, and is the condition that causes the DISTRESSES in the system; as the twitching, as the reaction as has been described. With the stimulating to the capillaries, with the depressions brought about as to stimulate those organs and those portions of system that are under the stress, these will become NEARER to the normal functioning.
   The use of those appliances as have been given, SHOULD be used by the body.
8. (Q) What causes exhaustion of body every two weeks, lasting about ten days?
   (A) The normal reaction from the over effulgence of an internal high circulation.
9. (Q) Is there any danger of this body inheriting cancer?
   (A) More danger of it becoming active in system; NOT inheriting - for this is a condition that leaves a tendency, not a hereditary condition, as are some of those that are transmuted through the blood and the genitive organs.
10. (Q) What laxative?
    (A) The giving of the alkalins will aid in this direction. When laxatives are used, best that they be alternated between the combination of aloes or of Alophen in its preparation, and of those of Upjohn's laxative wafers.
11. (Q) What diet should be continued?
    (A) As given.
