This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 24th day of February, 1930, in accordance with request made by those in charge.

Present: Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. Drs. Lydic and Parker, Nurse, Mrs. [5563] and [5562] and L. B. Cayce.

TEXT

1. EC: We have the body here, [5562] - this we have had before. Changes are apparent in the physical forces of the body. Most of these are for the betterment. While some conditions acting as retractions cause disturbance and anxiety, will those conditions as have been given for the correction be followed we will find that gradually there will come the changes for the betterment of the physical and mental body.
2. In retractions, there are seen that in the manner that eliminations are exercised in the system - these periods bring the greater distress in that subjugation, as brings incoordination. This is also apparent in the sensory reactions, and is the indication through which this disturbance occurs in system.
3. We would keep, then, the whole of the eliminations of system in an excess, as it were, that the coordination by the releasing of the depressions - may be made to feel out, as it were, throughout the nervous systems; not one, but all - and thus bring about NORMALCY in reactions. These are, then, all to be taken into consideration, whether during the periods of eliminations from the genitive system, from the alimentary canal, kidneys, liver, lungs and respiratory, or the secretions through the whole of the respiratory system, or perspiratory system, or both. Ready for questions.
4. (Q) Should patient be allowed to go to movies?
   (A) Occasionally. Not those that cause excitement, but rather those that are funny.
5. (Q) Is the Mayblossom Bitters being used properly prepared?
   (A) They are not compounded in the ORDER given!
6. (Q) Should this here in the house be given instead?
   (A) Be more effective! Near periods, there may be given those of the preparations as acting with the bromides, would care for the eliminations in this direction better. Those, the compound of the bromides in form known as Bromidia, and added TO same those of Calisaya and of the Valerian, stimulated sufficiently with the Capsici to produce the activities through the whole of the system; but should only be given at such periods, or just before.
7. (Q) What is cause of deafness in right ear? Can it be relieved?
   (A) This same pressure. This has just been made reference, in that as has been given, where and how the tie-up in the lumbar and sacral and lower dorsal have affected, do affect, the nerve SYSTEMS, and especially the auditory, and the releasing and the bringing about of the proper coordination will bring the proper reactions in this directions.
8. (Q) Would you advise colonic irrigation? If so, how often?
   (A) This provided that there is NOT the proper eliminations through alimentary canal, for pressure must bring distresses to the system through pressures in EVERY activity, and would be WELL - but not too often, as to produce irritation, for there are not the full or complete DEVELOPMENTS with this body throughout the system, and TOO often would be too irritating to the system; but keep the alimentary canal open, and do not allow the system to receive pressures by the production of any fecal matter accumulation in any portion of the colon.
9. That is all the questions regarding this body.
