This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 20th day of August, 1926, in accordance with request made by her mother and Dr. House.

Present: Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno.

TEXT

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for the further improvement of same. You will answer any questions I may ask you regarding same.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. This we have had before.
3. Now, we find the general physical conditions are in that way of becoming improved throughout. While there are those recurring conditions to be expected, through those retractions as will occur, yet, with the present existing forces, with eliminations kept through their proper channels, the condition may be reverted to good, see? for, with the gland condition, that as produces the excess functioning of same is produced much by the toxins as have been induced from without.
4. Now, these conditions directed to the normal condition, with the correction of those incentives that may be released from those cervical vertebras and dorsal vertebras, these we find will release the condition and bring about the normal flow and elimination. Then, keeping the rebuilding forces in the system, we will find the body developing to the normal physical forces.
5. The diet should be watched after. Never allow (especially while these conditions are existent) the feces to remain long in the system. Keep the intestinal tract open, and if necessary at time to use enema, use same, for reinfection often recurs from this condition, for where even the normal functioning of eliminating forces in the intestinal and in the mesenteric system, with these conditions lying dormant in the colon, and as we have had here that incentive for this condition to begin, through the fever that was created in this portion of the system in times back, it will be necessary to cleanse same. Do that, see?
6. The diet kept as has been outlined - those rebuilding forces in system. Ready for the questions.
7. (Q) Will the body be alright to begin school this fall?
   (A) Should begin - by the latter part of September this body should be near normal.
   See, these conditions exist in this body:
   In that of the mesenteric system, and the pressure as has been produced in the upper sacral and lumbar regions, this causes the condition in the glands above the kidneys. With this pressure there becomes the taxation in the digestion, especially to that portion where the change of the assimilation to the supply in the system, see? With this being in this state, any taxation, either mental, physical, or congestive, produces the temperature in system, by over heating all of the glands and nerve centers, especially as is seen in the hypogastric and pneumogastric. Hence at times nausea occurs with this - at times the over activity of the kidneys seems necessary. Hence the necessity of the system cleansing self, and the effect is to produce that that will produce more lactics and more of the mucus forming conditions in system, see?
   Now, with this released, with the gland condition supplied through the action of the toxins (which are produced by anti-toxins, see? in system), all glands are set loose in the body. This is the best that can be said of vaccination - that it turns loose the poisons in system and, if taken care of properly, may assist anyone having any glandular trouble. With this set loose, and the system set in correct eliminations, the assimilations become natural, see? Take advantage of same.
