This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Virginia, this 14th day of March, 1930, in accordance with request made by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. [...], through Mr. [99] and others.

TEXT

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [5568]. Now, we find, while conditions physical seem distraught, there may be corrections made and the body brought to a nearer normal condition. The conditions have gradually been on a change, with the developments in the physical forces of the body, and while there will be found derangements in the position, and in the structural portion of body, these - with the proper adjustments - may be brought to the near functioning in a normal manner. This particular condition would be an interesting study from the structural anatomical condition, if studied from the application of the radiograph and the reactions made with same. In the conditions, we find some are of the congenital nature. These, however, in the changes as have been wrought in system, have to do with the cerebro-spinal system and those branches as lead from same in the locomotary centers; so that, with the conditions being brought in their activity to their normal position and action in same be brought in the proper vibrations for the changes made, we will find conditions being brought to a nearer normal activity.
2. This, then, will require patience and persistence, and some time, but these will be well worth the changes as may be wrought in the physical activities for this body; for it may be made to mean much to many in its activities.
3. The manipulations as would be necessary, should be begun gently; first winning the confidence and the thought of the entity and its OWN activity.
4. Also there should be, WITH this massage, the use of those properties as will be food value for the muscle and the tissue of the exterior system; so that, that as is applied INTERNALLY may COORDINATE with the EXTERNAL application; using for those, the vibratory forces in the wet battery, carrying the Chloride of Gold. This in the normal battery, charging self, carrying through those properties in the Gold. This solution made one to ten.
5. In the manipulations, there should not be too severe corrections in the beginning. There should be as much of the oxygen and sun as may be had by the body. These will work WONDERS for the body.
6. In the FOOD values, these should not be too MUCH in the beginning of structural or calcium properties. Rather those that are of the blood and tissue and sinew building, than too much of the calcium. Let THESE be gathered most from the exterior, and created in the system as to call FOR the changes OF conditions in the various portions where these have grown to be a portion OF the structural body; adding, for those changes as will be brought in the first two to three weeks, those of the deep ray, that will aid in the bones' reaction in system.
7. Do that, and we will bring those conditions for this body that will make for a NEW body physically. Ready for questions.
8. (Q) Do you mean Infra Red or ultra violet ray?
   (A) Infra Red.
9. (Q) Where should the wet battery connections be applied?
   (A) To the extremities and to the solar plexus. That is, in the application to the solar plexus, as the circle is made about the body - from arm to wrist, from wrist to arm - the one should be to the 9th dorsal ONE time, the next time to the umbilicus, see? making it alternate with ankle and wrist; one time from ankle being to the umbilicus, one time from the wrist being to the umbilicus - making a circle of the body. This, of course, applied to the body, is to carry the Gold properties, and is to be the last anode attached to body.
   We will find changes coming within ten days to two weeks, but not a permanent cure until there may be the proper rejuvenation in the whole system - but a CONSTANT building towards a more near normal body. As to how LONG, that depends upon the way and manner in which the BODY responds, and as to that as is first given, that the confidence of the body-mental must be gained. Do not work a HARDSHIP on the DEVELOPING mind, for do not FORCE the issue - other than that the proper exercise and the proper air and foods are given.
10. (Q) How long should the battery be given at a time?
    (A) Beginning, it should not be longer than thirty minutes. Neither should, in the beginning, the ray be given longer than twenty minutes - though it may be increased as the body becomes accustomed to same. SUNSHINE, sand and sea, will do WONDERS for the body, WHEN there is the PROPER conditions that the body may have the benefits of sand baths and sea water - these should be given for at least twenty to thirty minutes each day. THESE will work WONDERS for the body!
11. (Q) Can treatment be followed at home?
    (A) No.
12. That is all the questions.
13. Now, much may be said concerning this body. As these are begun, much more will be given - for this may be made, with careful study, an IDEAL patient, with an ideal result. We are through for the present.
